Hillary Clinton has a deranged theory about future American elections.
She’s so blind that she can’t even see how her words hurt her own party.
Hillary Clinton is pushing a bizarre conspiracy theory that could destroy Democrats.
The former first lady and twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is already warning that “right-wing extremists” are plotting to steal the 2024 presidential election.
She went so far as to claim the Republican plans to “steal” the 2024 presidential election was something that was “keeping her up at night.”
“I know we’re all focused on the 2022 midterm elections, and they are incredibly important, but we also have to look ahead because, you know what, our opponents certainly are. Right-wing extremists already have a plan to literally steal the next presidential election, and they’re not making a secret of it,” Clinton said.
“The right-wing controlled Supreme Court may be posed to rule on giving state legislatures, yes, you heard me that correctly, state legislatures the power to overturn presidential elections,” Clinton continued. “Just think, if that happens, the 2024 presidential election could be decided not by the popular vote or even the anachronistic Electoral College but by state legislatures, many of them Republican-controlled.”
Clinton said there is “also good news in the face of this very real threat to Democracy” and pivoted to leverage her fearmongering in order to raise money for Indivisible’s Crush the Coup campaign to “make sure we’re ready to defend Democracy” in 2024.
Indivisible is a far-left activist organization which, on its website, describes itself as “a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda.”
They have identified “the 29 most critical races in 6 states that we need to win to defeat the MAGA coup.” The six battleground states they are focusing on are reportedly Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Clinton falsely tried claiming former President Trump won the presidential election because he was colluding with Russians.
“There was a widespread understanding that this election [in 2016] was not on the level,” Clinton told The Atlantic in October 2020. “We still don’t know what really happened.”
“There’s just a lot that I think will be revealed. History will discover,” she said. “But you don’t win [the popular vote] by 3 million votes and have all this other shenanigans and stuff going on and not come away with an idea like, ‘Whoa, something’s not right here.’ That was a deep sense of unease.”
Democrats have claimed for years that “planting seeds of doubt” undermines democracy but apparently it is only bad when Republicans do it.
They want to cripple the Republican Party by trying to hold them to a complete double standard that Democrats feel perfectly free to break at any opportunity that they see fit.
