Hillary Clinton will not go away.
She is still promoting her revisionist history take on the 2016 “What Happened” on every liberal network and radio program.
But she let it slip that she has a horrifying plan to try and remove Trump from office.
During the 2016 campaign, Clinton and other liberals claimed Trump was about to bring about the end of the Republic because he would not concede defeat before the election.
The media claimed he was “dangerous” because Trump said he would wait until he saw how the election played out before deciding to accept the results as legitimate.
Of course Trump ended up winning the election fair and square, but within 24 hours, the Clinton campaign decided to concoct the conspiracy theory that the Russians stole the election in order to delegitimize Trump and deflect blame from their disastrous campaign.
Now Hillary Clinton is taking that to the extreme.
She admitted in a new interview that she was considering contesting the results of the election.
Politico reports:
“Democrat Hillary Clinton refused to rule out challenging the legitimacy of last year’s presidential election in an interview released Monday afternoon, though she said such a move would be unprecedented and legally questionable.
“I don’t know if there’s any legal constitutional way to do that. I think you can raise questions,” Clinton told NPR’s Terry Gross during an extended interview on “Fresh Air,” before pivoting to criticism of President Donald Trump’s rhetoric regarding Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 race.
Gross quickly returned to her initial question, asking if Clinton would “completely rule out questioning the legitimacy of this election if we learn that the Russian interference in the election is even deeper than we know now?”
“No. I would not,” Clinton said.
Gross followed up again, replying “you’re not going to rule it out.” “No, I wouldn’t rule it out,” Clinton said.”
Clinton claimed there was no path to actually contest the election, but the idea that she even floated the idea shows how far Democrats are willing to go in order to bring down Trump.
She is willing to risk tearing down the foundations of our country – that every four years we conduct an orderly transfer of power that shifts control of the government to different political parties without resorting to violence.
That is out the window with the 2017 Democrat Party.
Clinton tried to walk back her remarks, but it is clear her initial instinct was that if she can’t be President, then America democracy is tradition not worth preserving.
But in fairness, she only expressed what elites in the country dance around.
The establishment in both parties, the media, academia, and Hollywood all believe Trump’s election was illegitimate.
Instead of coming out and saying that the results should be contested like Hillary Clinton has, they are shielding their true intentions by promoting the “collusion with Russia” fake news hoax.
