Hillary Clinton put herself in the record books as one of the most divisive presidential candidates in history.
She found every excuse to slander those who don’t support her, and her supporters cheered.
But Hillary just said something so disgusting about Trump supporters that even CNN turned on her.
While speaking in India last week, Hillary Clinton took her anti-Trump rhetoric to an extreme that she never even reached when she was running for President.
As she was being interviewed by an India media station, she let loose.
Hillary stated that she lost because the people in the states that voted for Trump were racist and sexist.
“You know, you didn’t like black people getting rights,” Hillary stated. “You don’t like women, you know, getting jobs, you don’t want to, you know, see that Indian-American succeeding more than you are–whatever your problem is, I’m going to solve it.”
These comments went too far for a panel of CNN commentators.
CNN’s Nina Turner took particular offense, stating that “my state is one of those states.”
She then went to defense for her state of Ohio, that voted majority Trump in 2016:
“So in defense of Ohio, that voted twice for President Obama in 2008 and 2012–the quintessential swing state, no Republican has ever won the presidency without us, and President Obama won my state. So it was very hurtful to lump all Ohioans and all people — in politics, we should not criticize the voters. The onus is on the person that is running for office, and just to do that just continues to divide and malign people.”
As reported by The Daily Caller:
“A panel on CNN’s “State of the Union With Jake Tapper” Sunday slammed failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for her remarks about Trump voters Sunday.
Even CNN commentators went after Clinton for what she said.
“So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward, and his whole campaign ‘Make America Great Again’ was looking backwards,” Clinton said in India this week.
“‘You know, you didn’t like black people getting rights, you don’t like women, you know, getting jobs, you don’t want to, you know, see that Indian-American succeeding more than you are–whatever your problem is, I’m going to solve it.’”
CNN’s Nina Turner didn’t like what Clinton said at all.
“Well, my state is one of those states,” Turner said.
The onus is on the person that is running for office, and just to do that just continues to divide and malign people.””
It’s clear that Hillary’s comments went too far for some liberals.
Even some of the ultra-liberal commentators at CNN couldn’t defend her when she tried to blanket half of the country as racist and sexist.
