Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar is most at home in the center of a political firestorm.
But this time she learned the truth about the old saying that if you play with matches you are bound to get burnt.
That’s because Ilhan Omar spoke one word Donald Trump instantly blew up in her face.
Ilhan Omar and her fellow “Squad” members are now over one week into their feud with Donald Trump.
Despite the fake news media’s attempts to turn President Trump’s attacks on their hatred for America and socialist agenda into a racial angle, this battle is spiraling out of control for the left.
Donald Trump wants to make Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley the faces of the Democrat Party.
And the four Congresswomen are doing everything in their power to help Trump make that come true.
The latest example of the Squad’s disastrous strategy was Omar firing off a racist tweet where the freshman Democrat lied about President Trump being a racist and falsely claimed that the President wanted to deport all black and brown people in America.
“You all should end this charade and accept that this racist president wants every black/brown person deported and Muslims banned His immigration policies say this much!” Omar tweeted.
Omar is not the only racist in the “Squad.”
Ocasio-Cortez and Tlaib both express anti-Semitic views.
Pressley put her racism on display when she said you can’t be an authentic black voice and disagree with the Democrats.
“I don’t want to bring a chair to an old table. This is the time to shake the table. This is the time to redefine that table. Because if you’re going to come to this table, all of you who have aspirations of running for office. If you’re not prepared to come to that table and represent that voice, don’t come, because we don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice. We don’t need queers that don’t want to be a queer voice. If you’re worried about being marginalized and stereotyped, please don’t even show up because we need you to represent that voice,” Pressley ranted at the far-left Netroots Nation conference.
This was political gold for Donald Trump.
The President fired back in a tweet where he described the “Squad” members as racists that endanger the country with proposals to throw open the borders and end enforcing immigration laws.
“The ‘Squad’ is a very Racist group of troublemakers who are young, inexperienced, and not very smart. They are pulling the once great Democrat Party far left, and were against humanitarian aid at the Border…And are now against ICE and Homeland Security. So bad for our Country!” President Trump wrote.
Omar’s outrageous and false tweet – as well as the President’s response – ensures that this story will stay in the news for days to come. And that is bad news for the Democrat Party.
