Ilhan Omar stepped up and picked a major fight with Donald Trump.
No one could believe the turn it took.
That’s because Ilhan Omar made one threat against Donald Trump that is seriously bad news.
The fallout continues to spread from the shocking video of Ilhan Omar coldly dismissing the 9/11 terrorist attacks as “some people who did something.”
Donald Trump voiced the outrage of millions of Americans when he tweeted out a “Never Forget” video which compared Omar’s comments trivializing 9/11 with the horrific images of that dark day.

This set off Omar’s defenders in the fake news media and Democrat Party who shrieked that President Trump was “inciting violence” by merely quoting her own words.
Then Omar took it to the next level.
Omar released a statement claiming Trump’s tweet had escalated threats against her life and that “it has to stop.”
Omar’s statement read:
Since the President’s tweet Friday evening, I have experienced an increase in direct threats on my life—many directly referencing or replying to the President’s video. I thank the Capitol Police, the FBI, the House Sergeant at Arms, and the Speaker of the House for their attention to these threats.
Violent crimes and other acts of hate by right-wing extremists and white nationalists are on the rise in this country and around the world. We can no longer ignore that they are being encouraged by the occupant of the highest office in the land. Counties that hosted a 2016 Trump rally saw a 226 percent increase in hate crimes in the months following the rally. And assaults increase when cities host Trump rallies. This is particularly concerning given the president’s visit to my home state of Minnesota on Monday.
Violent rhetoric and all forms of hate speech have no place in our society, much less from our country’s Commander in Chief.
We are all Americans. This is endangering lives. It has to stop.
Omar spoke the magic words.
Inciting violence and hate speech are the triggers left-wing activists use to pressure social media companies to “de-platform” conservatives.
Nancy Pelosi got into the act and announced she was ordering a security review for Omar and her family.
“Following the president’s tweet, I spoke with the sergeant-at-arms to ensure that Capitol Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Congresswoman Omar, her family and her staff,” Speaker Pelosi’s statement read. “They will continue to monitor and address the threats she faces.”
Pelosi’s statement only poured gasoline onto the fire.
Liberals have been itching for social media companies – specifically Twitter – to ban Trump for hate speech or insults targeting individuals.
Trump’s 9/11 video touched every corner of their argument.
Omar is a Muslim, a woman, and black.
That is the trifecta of liberal victimhood.
So conservatives took Omar’s claim to feeling threatened seriously.
They view it as another mile marker in the left’s plan to muzzle Trump on social media so they can defeat him in 2020.
