Joe Biden’s been on the longest losing streak by any president in recent memory.
It’s wearing on Democrats.
And Jen Psaki burst into tears in the face of this massive defeat.
Jen Psaki was a guest on former CNN reporter Jessica Yellin’s News Not Noise podcast where the two of them unleashed a firehose of falsehoods about Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill.
Yellin began the conversation by falsely claiming parents trying to protect students from woke brainwashing was a reactionary, bigoted movement.
“How do you make sense of what’s happening?” Yellin began. “Is this sort of a predictable backlash to change? Or is this an organized political attempt to create a wedge issue ahead of the midterms in the 2024 campaign? Sort of like the way gay marriage was weaponized in 2004?”
Psaki answered with even more lies baselessly claiming the supporters of the Parental Rights in Education bill – which prohibited indoctrination of students in grades K-3 with lessons on transgenderism and homosexuality – were an angry, hateful minority.
“Ding, ding ding,” Psaki stated telling Yellin that “the political games and harsh and cruel attempts at laws, or laws that we’re seeing in some states like Florida, that is not a reflection of the country moving to oppose LGBTQ+ communities. That is not what we see in data, that is not factual, and that is not where things stand. This is a political wedge issue, and an attempt to win a culture war.”
Psaki then burst into tears claiming that these laws were a meanspirited attack on transgender five-year-olds.
“They’re doing that in a way that is harsh and cruel to a community of kids, especially,” a tearful Psaki hysterically claimed. “I’m going to get emotional about this issue because it’s horrible! But it’s kids who are bullied, and all these leaders are taking steps to hurt them, and hurt their lives and hurt their families! And you look at some of these laws in these states and who’s going after parents who are in loving relationships, who have kids. It’s completely outrageous! Sorry, this is an issue that makes me completely crazy.”
None of that is true.
Children cannot be transgender at such a young age.
Young students cannot process concepts such as gender identity or sexual orientation which is why states like Florida prohibit teachers from introducing age-inappropriate concepts to students.
Psaki also failed to confront the fact that polling shows legislation like the Parental Rights in Education bill is popular.
A poll of Florida voters found 52 percent of Democrats supported the legislation.
And a Public Opinion Strategies survey showed 61 percent of Americans supported the concepts behind the Florida legislation.
