The Biden administration is flying off the rails.

In the Real Clear Politics polling average Biden’s job approval sits at 41 percent.
But even those pitiful poll numbers did not begin to describe the peril Democrats faced in 2022.
The danger came into sharp focus when the Los Angeles Times released poll numbers that should have Democrats flying into DEFCON-1 levels of panic.
In deep-blue California, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden find their popularity underwater.
Home state Vice President Kamala Harris’ approval sank to 38 percent with 46 percent disapproving.
Joe Biden sat at 47 percent approval with 48 percent disapproving.
The Los Angeles Times reported:
Respondents gave similarly unenthusiastic marks to Vice President Kamala Harris, whose popularity is underwater, with 38% approval and 46% disapproval, while they are evenly divided in their rating of President Biden. The assessments of both Biden and Harris dropped sharply from last summer, in line with their slumping poll numbers nationwide…
… Respondents are evenly split in their regard for Biden, with 47% approving and 48% disapproving. That marks a two-digit negative shift since the last IGS poll, in July, when his standing was at 59% approval and 37% disapproval.
The Los Angeles Times found Biden’s net approval sank nearly 25 points over the course of six months.
In California.
A state Biden won by 30 points.
A Democrat finding their job approval rating underwater in California would be like Donald Trump’s approval rating plummeting to negative numbers in West Virginia.
These things just do not happen.
No president in modern history ever lost more support in the polls in a quicker period of time at the start of their presidency.
Biden entered office to a honeymoon period where his approval rating was just north of 50 percent.
By last fall, polls already showed Biden in the high 30s.
Biden’s polling slump coincided with failures on every issue.
Biden failed to execute an orderly withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Biden failed to shut down the virus.
Biden failed to stand up to the teachers’ unions and let schools stay closed and forced children to wear masks.
Biden failed to tame inflation lying to the American people that it was “transitory.”
Biden failed at the border as the largest number of illegal aliens invaded America in two decades.
And Biden failed on crime as Democrat-run cities set murder records.
Biden’s failures are so obvious that even the overwhelmingly Democratic electorate in California disapproves of his job performance.
