Joe Biden got some bad news.
Just when Biden thought his latest power grab was set for smooth sailing,he got hit by a curveball.
That happened when Joe Biden got betrayed on a key priority by a Democrat he thought was his ally.
Joe Biden’s proposed a $2.5 trillion spending bill that Biden claims is an “infrastructure” bill.
Biden pitched the bill that way because building roads and bridges always polls well.
But the truth is the bill only spends 25 percent of the proposed money on infrastructure.
Biden’s bill spends the rest on importing Democrat voters into Republican suburbs through multi-family housing, imposing communist Green New Deal policies, paying off union bosses, and other socialist welfare redistribution programs.
Fox News host Neil Cavuto grilled Missouri Democrat—and Joe Biden’s ally—Emanuel Cleaver about the bill serving as a vehicle for the Democrats to advance a socialist agenda.
“It seems to be heavy on the tax part, very heavy on spending as well, congressman, that has nothing to do with infrastructure. And that’s what maybe worries some Republicans, maybe some of your more moderate colleagues, who think that however meritorious and kind it is to spend better than 400 billion on care for the elderly and disabled, it has nothing to do with infrastructure. What do you say to that?” Cavuto pressed Cleaver.
Instead of trying to dance around the issue or deflect by sticking to vague talking points, Cleaver agreed with the premise of Cavuto’s question.
“I think that’s a legitimate point. I’ll say that anywhere. That’s a legitimate point. Here’s the challenge for us on that though: First of all, I think the president has opened the door. None of this is in concrete. He wants to sit down and I think he’s going to begin to invite Republicans over to the White House to discuss the funding and any other component of this,” Cleaver responded.
Democrats are famous for never breaking ranks in legislative fights.
But Cleaver answered honestly about what Joe Biden and the Democrats truly intended the “infrastructure bill” to be.
Joe Biden’s defined the bill as a once-in-a-generation opportunity.
Critics argue Biden was hiding the truth in plain sight with that comment.
The $2.5 trillion spending spree is a once-in-a-generation spending spree because the natural rhythm of politics favors the Republicans to win control of the House of Representatives next November.
This bill could be the last bullet in the chamber Democrats have to fire at the heart of America before voters boot them from power in Congress.
That’s why Democrats stuffed this bill with unpopular agenda items that could not pass on their own like socialist welfare payoffs, Marxist Green New Deal policies designed to overhaul the American energy sector and to change the voting composition of Republican suburban neighborhoods.
