Joe Biden’s unpopularity is reaching all new lows across the country.
And with the midterm elections just around the corner, he is in desperate need of a win.
But now, this one key swing state just delivered Biden a devastating defeat he never saw coming.
Joe Biden is on track to be one of the least popular leaders the Democratic Party has ever produced.
With his approval stuck in the 30s and his party staring down the odds of a midterm wipeout the likes of which Democrats haven’t seen since 2010, it’s clear that Biden is in desperate need of a win.
That’s why Biden has shifted his tone in recent weeks to being far more belligerent than before, because he’s trying to rally his own base in an effort to turn the ship around.
But now, there are growing signs that one critical swing state is on the verge of delivering Biden a defeat unlike anything he’s ever seen before.
And it’s all because of one key Senate contest that has Democrats on edge.
Yahoo reports, “Trump-backed Republican Blake Masters pummeled his Democratic rival over ‘open borders’, Joe Biden and the soaring cost of living in a bad-tempered debate in Arizona on Thursday.
“A month before voters across the country go to the polls in mid-term elections that will determine the control of Congress, Mr Masters laid into incumbent senator Mark Kelly, accusing him and Mr Biden of letting inflation surge out of control and failing to lock-down the nation’s borders.”
The Arizona Senate race is one of the closest in the entire country, and ultimate control for the Senate itself is likely going to come down to the outcome in this state more than perhaps any other.
That’s why Democrats are so nervous right now, because they know that momentum is not on the side of incumbent Democrat Mark Kelly, who has done nothing while in office except serve as a rubber stamp for Biden’s far-left agenda.
Kelly has no independent voting streak whatsoever, and he’s made that clear throughout his time in office.
But now, Kelly wants to run away from his record of backing Biden at every turn because he knows how deeply unpopular Biden has become in the state.
The problem is, Kelly can try to run away from Biden on stage, but he cannot run away from his record of supporting Biden time and time again.
And Biden knows this too, which is why he’s more worried about the Senate race in Arizona than almost any other in the entire country.
And that’s largely because Arizona is one of the top states in the country that has suffered the most from Biden’s open borders policies.
“On a state that borders Mexico, immigration is a key issue. Mr Masters hammered away at Mr Kelly, blaming him and Mr Biden for allowing record number of migrants to enter the country.
“Records show the border authorities are set to make more than 2.3 million arrests during the 2022 fiscal year. That will exceed last year’s record of more than 1.7 million arrests,” adds Yahoo.
