Joe Biden spent 50 years in Washington being wrong about every major foreign policy decision that came across his desk.
Now the U.S. military is in for some bad news.
And that’s because Joe Biden just gave an order that betrayed every soldier in uniform.
Donald Trump signed a peace deal with the Taliban to have all American troops out of Afghanistan by May 1.
Joe Biden already betrayed that promise to bring the troops home to extend their stay in Afghanistan until September 11, 2021 so Biden can stage a politically motivated photo op of Americans leaving Afghanistan on the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
Now Biden is betraying the troops a second time by not bringing them home, and instead setting up new military bases in neighboring nations.
“CENTCOM boss Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr., told the House Armed Services Committee on April 20 the command is going through ‘detailed planning’ on what future operational plans and force laydowns could be after the withdrawal, which will be completed by Sept. 11,” Air Force Magazine reported.
General Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr. explained what the new phase of the war Biden would oversee will look like.
Air Force Magazine also reported:
Future counter terrorism operations will require ways to surveil targets in Afghanistan if needed, including with the use of overhead intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft operating from outside of the country. U.S. forces would then need to “finish” those targets through multiple options, including long-range fires and “targeted raids—although those are inherently dangerous, but you could still do it,” McKenzie said. “You could do it with manned aircraft. There are problems with all three of those options, but there’s also opportunities with all three of those options.”
Without a presence in the country, it will be “extremely difficult to do, but it is not impossible to do it,” McKenzie said.
Donald Trump won the 2016 election in large part because he promised to bring troops home from endless wars.
That was a popular campaign centerpiece.
Once Trump was in office, the generals, deep state bureaucrats on the National Security Council and traitorous Republicans like Liz Cheney fought to stop Trump from making good on that pledge.
President Trump’s peace deal to finally end the war and bring America’s troops home was a high point of President Trump’s considerable foreign policy achievements.
And now Joe Biden is going to flush it all away by extending the troops’ stay to September 11 for political reasons and also not even living up to Trump’s promise to bring the soldiers home.
Instead Joe Biden is going to redeploy them to neighboring nations to keep the war going in hopes the public doesn’t notice.
