Democrats are wondering when Joe Biden will crash into rock bottom with his polling slide.
Liberals learned some bad news.
And that’s because Joe Biden just saw a devastating new poll that revealed this ugly truth.
The latest Quinnipiac poll showed Joe Biden had yet to reach the floor in his sinking poll numbers.
Quinnipiac reported just 33 percent of Americans approved of the job Joe Biden did as president.
“Americans give President Joe Biden a negative 33 – 53 percent job approval rating, while 13 percent did not offer an opinion. In November 2021, Americans gave Biden a negative 36 – 53 percent job approval rating with 10 percent not offering an opinion,” Quinnipiac reported of their poll’s findings.
The poll also found massive majorities of the American people disapproved of Biden’s performance on:
- the economy: 34 percent approve, while 57 percent disapprove;
- foreign policy: 35 percent approve, while 54 percent disapprove;
- the response to the coronavirus: 39 percent approve, while 55 percent disapprove.
Those numbers are not surprising.
Month after month the jobs reports wildly miss expectations.
That’s because Biden’s failed on inflation and COVID.
On the day Quinnipiac released their poll, the government reported inflation surging at seven percent in November, the biggest jump since 1982.
Inflation, as well as the Biden administration’s insistence on vaccine mandates, mass testing and quarantines led to massive supply chain shortages and images of empty grocery shelves exploding virally across social media.
But there was even more bad news in the poll.
Quinnipiac found a majority of Americans expected Biden to be a terrible president.
Even though just 33 percent approved of Biden as president, 50 percent told Quinnipiac Biden’s performance is what they expected in office.
“As President Biden marks his first year in the Oval Office, 50 percent of Americans say the job he is doing is about what they expected, 39 percent say he’s doing a worse job than expected, and 7 percent say he’s doing a better job than expected,” the polling memo accompanying the results read.
To make matters worse, the public graded Biden as a failure on his central campaign promise.
In 2020, Biden sold himself to voters as a unifying figure that could heal the soul of the nation.
But after one year in office a plurality of Americans thought Biden did more in word and deed to divide the country.
“A plurality, 49 percent, say Biden is doing more to divide the country while 42 percent say he’s doing more to unite the country.” Quinnipiac also reported.
That number showing Americans believe Biden is a divisive figure came one day after Biden delivered an unhinged speech declaring Americans that opposed a Democrat takeover of elections were domestic enemies that had more in common with the president of the Confederacy during the Civil War and racist segregationists than patriots.
Even CNN’s liberal activist Ryan Struyk was forced to acknowledge the slide in Biden’s polls with no end in sight.
“President Biden’s overall approval rating in the last seven Quinnipiac polls: 49%, 46%, 42%, 38%, 37%, 36%, 33%,” Struyk posted on Twitter.
There appears to be no end in sight for Biden’s poll numbers.
And that has Democrats nervous heading into the midterms.
