Joe Biden is the latest Democrat to get into it with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Musk continues to make enemies on the left.
But now Joe Biden said seven words to Elon Musk that he will live to regret.
Reuters obtained an email from Musk to Tesla executives warning of a 10 percent workforce layoff because Musk felt the economy was spiraling down the tubes.
Many thought a recent letter by Musk to employees mandating everyone return to the office for a minimum of 40 hours per week for in-person work was a way to cull the workforce and eliminate those that grew accustomed to working from home.
Tesla (TSLA.O) CEO Elon Musk has a “super bad feeling” about the economy and needs to cut about 10% of jobs at the electric carmaker, he said in an email to executives seen by Reuters.
The message, sent on Thursday and titled “pause all hiring worldwide”, came two days after the billionaire told staff to return to the workplace or leave, and adds to a growing chorus of warnings from business leaders about the risks of recession.
Musk has warned in recent weeks about the risks of recession, but his email ordering a hiring freeze and staff cuts was the most direct and high-profile message of its kind from the head of an automaker.
Musk has not hidden fears about the economy.
Recently someone on Twitter asked Musk if he felt a recession was on the way.
Musk predicted a recession would hit America due to all the inflation caused by the socialist so-called “stimulus” in response to COVID.
“Yes, but this is actually a good thing. It has been raining money on fools for too long. Some bankruptcies need to happen. Also, all the Covid stay-at-home stuff has tricked people into thinking that you don’t actually need to work hard. Rude awakening inbound!” Musk posted on Twitter.
A reporter recently asked Joe Biden about Musk’s comments that the economy was about to crash into a ditch.
Biden mocked Elon Musk’s SpaceX corporation and Musk’s desire to take a trip to the moon and put a man on Mars.
“So, you know, lots of luck on his trip to the moon,” Biden sneered.
But Elon Musk is not the only top business leader predicting economic doom.
JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon predicted a “hurricane” ready to swamp over America.
“Right now, it’s kind of sunny, things are doing fine, everyone thinks the Fed can handle this,” Dimon stated. “That hurricane is right out there, down the road, coming our way.”
Liberal economists warned Joe Biden that the trillions in new socialist spending would overheat the economy and spike inflation.
Biden ignored those words of wisdom and pushed ahead falsely believing the American people elected him to be the next FDR.
But now the bill came due, and inflation is running at the highest level in 40 years.
And business leaders across the spectrum are readying for the Joe Biden-induced recession.
