Joe Biden’s handlers like to keep Biden’s interactions with the press limited to pre-selected reporters whose questions can be known in advance.
One of the reasons Biden’s marathon press conference turned into such a debacle was because Biden lingered at the podium long after exhausting his prepared list of reporters to take unscripted questions.
Biden’s cognitive decline reared its head again.
After an event where Biden delivered remarks on the stalled economy, Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy shouted a question to Biden about the 40-year high for inflation and how Biden thought it affected the midterm election outlook for Democrats.
“Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?” Doocy asked Biden.
Biden – with a live microphone in front of him – muttered “what a stupid son of a b!tch” in response to Doocy’s question.
“It’s a great asset,” Biden sneered, “More inflation. What a stupid son of a b!tch.”

When Joe Biden campaigned for president, he promised to restore respect for norms and civility to the White House.
Last January Biden told Americans that Biden would fire anyone who disrespected a colleague on the spot.
“I am not joking when I say this, if you are ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect…talk down to someone, I promise you I will fire you on the spot,” Biden pledged. “On the spot. No ifs, ands, or buts,” Biden stated. “Everybody is entitled to be treated with decency and dignity,” Biden added, “that’s been missing in a big way the last four years.”
By Joe Biden’s own standard, he should fire himself.
The corporate media also has much to answer for.
In 2018, CNN’s chief Democrat Party propagandist Brian Stelter attacked Donald Trump for blasting a reporter as a “son of a b!tch.”
But Stelter approvingly wrote that Biden “deadpanned” calling Doocy a “stupid son of b!tch” because Biden put down a reporter from Fox News.

Biden profanely insulting Fox News Channel’s Peter Doocy was another sign the pressure of Biden’s failing presidency got to Biden.
And CNN laughing off Biden insulting a member of the media was yet another example of why polls show the overwhelming majority of Americans do not trust corporate media outlets to tell them the truth.
Americans know that outlets like CNN exist to launder Democrat Party talking points into the public discourse under the guise of news.
