Joe Biden’s administration stumbled right out of the gate.
But no one could imagine things would take this drastic turn for the worse.
And Joe Biden signed these papers that were a confession of fraud to the American people.
During the presidential campaign, Joe Biden claimed his middle-class roots from Scranton, Pennsylvania would guide his economic policy-making which included a claim that he would not ban fracking.
This was a typical politician’s tall tale.
First of all, Biden left Scranton as a child.
Second, Biden repeatedly said on the trail—including in the last debate—that he would devastate the oil and natural gas industry including a fracking ban.
During Biden’s first week in office, Biden essentially admitted he perpetrated a fraud on the American people by signing two controversial executive orders gutting the oil and natural gas energy sector.
Reuters reported that Biden signed a 60-day shutdown of oil and gas permits on federal land:
U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration has temporarily suspended oil and gas permitting on federal lands and waters in the latest of a series of rapid-fire orders aimed at fighting climate change and tamping down the U.S. fossil fuel industry…
… The 60-day pause strips Interior Department agencies and bureaus from their authority to issue drilling leases or permits while the administration reviews the legal and policy implications of the federal minerals leasing program, according to a Department of Interior memo. The order does not limit existing operations, it said.
Industry leaders were furious and accused Biden of lying about opposing a fracking ban.
Chief executive of the drilling trade group American Exploration & Production Council Anne Bradbury claimed Biden imposed a fracking ban.
“This is a frack ban,” Bradbury told Reuters. “Even just for 60 days, it’s a really aggressive move.”
The second half of the one-two gut punch combo to the working-class Americans in the energy sector was Biden’s executive order shutting down the Keystone XL pipeline, reversing a key initiative in the Trump administration.
“The Permit is hereby revoked,” Biden’s order read. “Leaving the Keystone XL pipeline permit in place would not be consistent with my Administration’s economic and climate imperatives.”
The Keystone pipeline already created about 1,200 good-paying jobs with the promise of putting a total of 11,000 Americans to work.
At a time when nearly 10 million Americans are out of work, Joe Biden threw another 1,200 on the unemployment line and erased the ability of nearly 10,000 more Americans to achieve the American dream by finding a good-paying job that could support their families.
Biden’s first week in office showed American workers are his last priority.
The top initiatives for Biden were blanket amnesty for 11,000,000 illegal aliens, allowing boys to play girls’ sports and crushing the energy sector and putting those Americans out of work.
Biden’s critics contend this misleading messaging undercuts Biden’s claim of wanting to “unite the country” and shows that Republican concerns that Biden would act as a rubber stamp for the radical left were well-founded.
