Joe Biden just made one of the biggest miscalculations of the entire election.
It’s destroying his campaign.
Joe Biden stepped into this massive disaster he will pay dearly for.
Strategically, Joe Biden isn’t in the place that he wants to be.
There are two things that he really needs to be doing right now, fundraising and consolidating his base.
Joe Biden can’t hold fundraisers, and big Wall Street donors aren’t willing to give out cash right now.
The DNC has a long-existing debt problem and Joe Biden needs more cash if he wants to take on Trump, whose fundraising recently broke records during Nancy Pelosi’s unsupportable impeachment.
Joe Biden’s in big trouble on this front.
The other problem Joe Biden has is bringing together the base.
He got the nomination because he’s not completely insane like Bernie Sanders, but now he’s becoming completely insane to win over Bernie Sanders’ voters.
Joe Biden is completely giving into radicals on immigration and said that he needs Bernie Sanders to help him rule and put immigrants, who came into the country illegally, on a pathway to citizenship.
According to The Daily Wire:
Biden said, “We’re going to finally achieve comprehensive immigration reform as well, put millions of citizens on a pathway to citizenship including so many who are on the frontlines right now.”
“I hope that these task forces will come together, utilizing the best minds and people in your campaign and in my campaign to workout real solutions to these very, very important problems,” Sanders said. “So, look forward to working with you and bringing some great people into those task forces.”
“Well, um, Bernie I want to thank you, uh, um, uh, for that,” Biden said. “It’s a big deal, um, and, uh, you know, uh, I think that your endorsement means a great deal, it means a great deal to me.”
“I think people are going to be surprised that we are apart on some issues but we’re awfully close on a whole bunch of others and uh, I think you’ve made, if I am the nominee, which it looks like now you’ve just made me, I’m going to need you, not just to win the campaign but to govern,” Biden added.
Joe Biden won the nomination because he claimed that he was less crazy and more of a moderate than the rest of his party.
If he’s embracing an open socialist like Bernie Sanders, he’s really risking his campaign.
The key demographic that Joe Biden needs to win back are disenfranchised blue-collar workers and he’s doing a really bad job at winning over independents.
Joe Biden is frightened by the fact that 12% of the voters that voted for Bernie Sanders changed over to Trump in the general election and wants to appeal to them.
The problem is that Joe Biden could lose his own base.
If Joe Biden was smart, instead of becoming more radical, he should become more moderate and walk back his talk of energy restrictions that will hurt American energy jobs.
Joe Biden has little enthusiasm behind him and little money, he’s going to have a rough time winning over voters.
