Joe Biden geared up for a Supreme Court fight.
It immediately got off to a surprising start.
And Joe Biden was left speechless over this stunning Supreme Court setback.
Joe Biden nominated D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to fill retiring liberal Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s seat.
Biden nominated Judge Brown as part of his affirmative action promise to only nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court.
Part of the strategy in nominating the first black woman ever to the Supreme Court is to defang Republican opposition and clear the path for a smooth confirmation.
South Carolina RINO Senator Lindsey Graham was one of the three GOP sellouts that voted to stand conservatives in the back and confirm Judge Brown to the D.C. Circuit of Appeals.
But even a RINO like Lindsey Graham understood that conservatives expect their elected officials to fight for the values they hold dear.
And any Republican that votes for Judge Brown’s confirmation to the Supreme Court is going on record in support of abortion on demand, grabbing guns, censoring free speech, destroying state right-to-work laws, eliminating religious liberty, and supporting the homosexual policy agenda.
Graham – even if it was just pretend – recognized that Biden selecting Judge Brown was a complete victory for the radical left.
“If media reports are accurate, and Judge Jackson has been chosen as the Supreme Court nominee to replace Justice Breyer, it means the radical Left has won President Biden over yet again. The attacks by the Left on Judge Childs from South Carolina apparently worked,” Graham wrote on social media.
“I expect a respectful but interesting hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee. The Harvard-Yale train to the Supreme Court continues to run unabated,” Graham concluded.
RINO Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell also appeared to come out against Judge Brown’s nomination.
“I voted against confirming Judge Jackson to her current position less than a year ago. Since then, I understand that she has published a total of two opinions, both in the last few weeks, and that one of her prior rulings was just reversed by a unanimous panel of her present colleagues on the D.C. Circuit. I also understand Judge Jackson was the favored choice of far-left dark-money groups that have spent years attacking the legitimacy and structure of the Court itself,” McConnell wrote.
McConnell’s opposition is important because if McConnell is against Judge Brown’s confirmation then it is likely virtually all Republicans will vote against Judge Brown.
Even though Republicans don’t have the votes to stop Judge Brown’s confirmation, Republicans can still expose Judge Brown as a dangerous radical and increase the possibility Democrats pay a political price for supporting an extremist liberal’s nomination.
