It wasn’t supposed to go this way.
But Joe Biden’s administration finds a new way to stumble on a daily basis.
And John Kerry’s confession about Joe Biden left Democrats speechless.
John Kerry is Joe Biden’s so-called “climate” czar.
As such, it fell to Kerry to defend Biden’s job-killing executive orders that choke off America’s energy independence by gutting the oil and natural gas industry.
With the stroke of a pen, Biden killed what would have amounted to 11,000 good-paying construction jobs by canceling the Keystone XL pipeline.
That was just the tip of the iceberg.
The American Petroleum Institute found that Biden’s bans on oil and natural gas leases on federal lands would throw one million Americans out of work by 2022.
Fox News reported that “the states of Texas, Wyoming and New Mexico [are] seeing the biggest impact.”
John Kerry defended taking food off the table of up to one million oil and natural gas workers as okay because they could just find other work making solar panels.
“What President Biden wants to do is make sure those folks have better choices, that they have alternatives, that they could be the people who go to work to make the solar panels. …. That is going to be a particular focus of the Build Back Better agenda. And I think that unfortunately workers have been fed a false narrative … that somehow dealing with climate is coming at their expense. No, it’s not. What’s happening to them is because of other market forces already taking place,” Kerry claimed.
John Kerry married an heiress and the thought of where his family’s next meal would come from or how the family would make ends meet never enters his mind.
Instead, Kerry also admitted that Joe Biden’s wacky climate agenda is just a vanity effort to appease rich liberals.
Kerry conceded the point that even if the United States shutdown its entire economy and produced zero carbon emissions, it wouldn’t make a hill of beans of difference because countries like Communist China don’t observe any of these so-called “climate change” treaties or regulations.
“That is why [Biden] rejoined the Paris Agreement so quickly. ‘Cause he knows that it is urgent. He also knows that Paris alone is not enough, not when almost 90% of all the planet’s omissions, global omissions, come outside of U.S. borders. We could go to zero tomorrow, and the problem isn’t solved. That is why today, one week into the job, President Biden will sign this additional executive set of orders to help move us down the road, ensuring that ambitious private action is global in scope and scale as well as national, here at home. Today, in the order that he will sign, that Gina has described to you, he makes climate central to foreign policy planning, to diplomacy, and to national security preparedness,” Kerry added.
In fact, Communist China is salivating over the thought of “cooperating” with Biden’s so-called climate agenda because they understand it is unilateral economic disarmament by the United States.
Any agreement between the Communist Chinese and the Biden administration on so-called “climate change” will be a one-sided affair where the United States rolls back economic progress on the vague promise Communist China may one day agree to keep some part of their promise years down the road.
This is not an exaggeration.
John Kerry negotiated Barack Obama’s disastrous Iran Nuclear Deal and now Joe Biden put Kerry in charge of “climate” policy and a large part of that portfolio will involve negotiating with the Communist Chinese.
In 2016 Hillary Clinton lost the election in large part because she said as president, she would put coal miners out of work.
Journalists claimed energy sector workers could “learn to code” as an alternative to working on oil rigs or drilling for natural gas.
Democrats are repeating that mistake heading into the 2022 election with John Kerry telling oil and natural gas industry employees that Biden would put them out of work and they can go make solar panels.
