The Deep State is reeling from the release of the Nunes memo.
It revealed an anti-Trump plot at the highest levels of the FBI and Obama administration.
But John McCain’s reaction was the worst betrayal of his career.
After Trump gave the go ahead for the House to release an unredacted version of the Nunes memo, Trump tweeted that the document vindicated him in the ongoing Russia witch hunt.
This memo totally vindicates “Trump” in probe. But the Russian Witch Hunt goes on and on. Their was no Collusion and there was no Obstruction (the word now used because, after one year of looking endlessly and finding NOTHING, collusion is dead). This is an American disgrace!

Nunes’ memo outlined how high ranking FBI and Department of Justice officials like James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, and Rod Rosenstein colluded with a foreign spy to use Hillary Clinton opposition research as the central basis to spy on Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
It was a conspiracy worse than Watergate.
And it put to be bed any claims that the Russia investigation and Mueller probe are legitimate lines of inquiry.
They are politically motivated hit jobs using fake news to stage a coup against the President of the United States.
But John McCain blasted the memo’s release.
The anti-Trump RINO claimed that exposing a conspiracy to subvert democracy was doing the work of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He released this statement defending the Deep State:
“In 2016, the Russian government engaged in an elaborate plot to interfere in an American election and undermine our democracy. Russia employed the same tactics it has used to influence elections around the world, from France and Germany to Ukraine, Montenegro, and beyond. Putin’s regime launched cyberattacks and spread disinformation with the goal of sowing chaos and weakening faith in our institutions. And while we have no evidence that these efforts affected the outcome of our election, I fear they succeeded in fueling political discord and dividing us from one another.
“The latest attacks on the FBI and Department of Justice serve no American interests – no party’s, no president’s, only Putin’s. The American people deserve to know all of the facts surrounding Russia’s ongoing efforts to subvert our democracy, which is why Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation must proceed unimpeded. Our nation’s elected officials, including the president, must stop looking at this investigation through the warped lens of politics and manufacturing partisan sideshows. If we continue to undermine our own rule of law, we are doing Putin’s job for him.”
