It’s been a rough stretch for Kamala Harris.
But Harris hadn’t hit rock bottom yet.
Kamala Harris got humiliated by this Fox News interview.
Even the left’s top propaganda outfits were forced to admit Kamala Harris’ trip to the Northern Triangle countries of El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala was a disaster.
“Kamala Harris is having a bad week (and it’s only Wednesday!)” read a headline on CNN.
There was more bad news on the way for Democrats.
In public remarks Kamala Harris blamed Central American governments for failing to deliver for their citizens as to why illegal aliens were pouring into America in numbers not seen in two decades.
“I want to be very clear that the problem at the border in large part, if not entirely, stems from the problems in these countries,” Harris stated. “I cannot say it enough. Most people don’t want to leave home.”
And – of course – Harris made sure to falsely claim that a massive amnesty bill would help solve the crisis.
“We also must, of course, tackle the issues that are inherent in the situation at the border,” Harris continued, baselessly claiming that is “what we must do to strengthen legal pathways for people to enter the United States.”
Harris’ talking points fell flat with at least one of the leaders in the Northern Triangle.
Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei slammed the Biden administration for creating magnets that attracted the surge of illegal aliens flooding to the United States.
In an interview with Fox News reporter Sara Carter, President Giammattei blasted the open borders message of Joe Biden as providing a boost to cartel smugglers and coyotes.
“Humanitarian messages were used by the coyotes in a totally distorted manner,” Giammattei told Carter. “Because what they said over there was that they will promote family reunification.”
President Giammattei added that residents of all the Northern Triangle countries heard this message.
“And the borders were full,” he said, “not just with people from Guatemala.”
Harris acknowledged the reality that Joe Biden’s policies and rhetoric created the border crisis by delivering a speech where she told illegal aliens “do not come.”
But after Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez blasted Harris for not inviting illegal aliens into America, Harris quickly reversed course.
When Harris was back in America, Harris did an interview with the Spanish language media outlet EFE where she again rolled out the red carpet for illegal aliens.
Harris told EFE that America would be a “safe haven” for illegal aliens “seeking asylum.”
Critics contend Harris may have just as well hung a vacancy sign at the border and rolled out a red carpet.
Harris’ job is to make this political headache go away.
Instead, Harris threw gasoline on a fire.
