Kamala Harris instantly knew she was in trouble.
That led to a mad scramble.
And Kamala Harris groveled for forgiveness after this career-killing mistake.
Kamala Harris committed another massive gaffe when speaking to a group of students at George Mason University.
Harris gave aid and comfort to the rising anti-Semitism on the left by not condemning a female student’s claim that Israel commits “ethnic genocide” against Palestinians.
“There have been protests and demonstrations in astronomical numbers with Palestine but then just a few days ago there were funds allocated to continue backing Israel, which hurts my heart because it’s an ethnic genocide and displacement of people, the same that happened in America, and I’m sure you’re aware of this,” the woman stated.
“Your voice, your perspective, your experience, your truth, should not be suppressed,” Harris stated.
This was just the latest example of Harris imploding in unscripted settings where she is unable to generate any headlines other than negative ones about herself.
When Harris traveled to Central America on a disastrous trip to show she cared about illegal immigration the only news Harris generated was her refusal to answer a question about when she would visit the U.S. southern border.
Harris and her team quickly performed damage control.
The vice president got Democratic Majority for Israel President Mark Mellman on the phone and read a script about how much she supposedly cares about Israel.
“We were pleased Vice President Harris’s senior staff reached out to us today to confirm what we already knew: Her ‘commitment to Israel’s security is unwavering,’” Mellman told reporters afterwards.
Mellman added that Harris “strongly disagrees with the George Mason student’s characterization of Israel.”
Kamala Harris ran one of the most disastrous presidential campaigns anyone can remember.
In the summer of 2019 Harris surged to the top of the polls after she leveled Joe Biden in a primary debate essentially calling Biden a racist for opposing school busing programs and working with pro-segregation senators.
But Harris quickly fizzled out as she constantly tried to reinvent herself as a tough on crime prosecutor, an establishment-oriented Democrat or left-wing, grassroots firebrand.
After declaring an intention to make Iowa a last stand, Harris dropped out of the race around Thanksgiving 2019 – months before the Iowa caucus – and her poll numbers and fundraising flatlined to around zero.
Given Joe Biden’s age and cognitive decline there is a good chance Kamala Harris will be the Democrat nominee in 2024.
But since Harris has no natural base of support in the party Harris lurches from one faction to the next trying to please everyone.
At George Mason, Harris tried to cozy up to the rising anti-Semite wing of the Democrat Party, but instead Harris came off as not ready for primetime.
