Kim Jong Un’s rogue nuclear weapons program has the globe braced for World War 3.
He’s threatened the United States with nuclear annihilation.
But Trump just gave one order that was bad news for the North Korean dictator.
16,000 U.S. troops and 230 fighter jets were deployed to South Korea as part of a war games drill.
North Korea views these drills as a provocation because they constantly fear any drills are pretext for an invasion.
The Sun reports:
“Vigilant Ace – massive joint war games – kicked off just hours ago as the US and South Korea prepare for an all-out conflict.
Hundreds of aircraft and thousands of soldiers and airmen are taking part in the drill, which is one of the biggest ever of its kind.
Some of the state-of-the-art military hardware taking part in the Peninsula include F-22 Raptors, B-1B Lancer bombers, EA-18G Growler electronic warfare jets and F-15C and F-16 fighter jets.
South Korea’s defence ministry said: “It’s aimed at enhancing the all-weather, day and night combined air power operation capabilities of South Korea and the US.”
The allied forces will practice engaging in numerous war-time scenarios, as well as carrying out precision strikes on North Korea nuclear targets.
The US Air Force said: “The realistic air combat exercise is designed to enhance interoperability between US and Republic of Korea forces, and increase the combat effectiveness of both nations.”
The world is watching to see how Kim Jong Un will react.
He could make good on his threat to conduct a live hydrogen bomb test over the Pacific Ocean.
It would be the first above-ground nuclear test since 1980.
If North Korea is to conduct another nuclear test, it may have to be an above-ground demonstration since their underground site was destroyed by earthquakes following their sixth nuclear test in September.
Such a test could push the United States into war.
Donald Trump – and every administration official – has said that North Korea will not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons that can strike the United States.
While the communist nation did test a missile that has the range to strike anywhere in America, officials believe the test was a failure.
There are reports that the projectile broke into pieces upon re-entry.
Given its failure, and North Korea’s paranoia about joint U.S.-South Korea military exercises, there are fears that Kim Jong Un could decide on a rash course of action that would plunge the world into war on the Korean Peninsula.
It would be a catastrophic event that could kill millions should there be an exchange of nuclear missiles.
Do you think it will come to war?
