There’s no bigger RINO in Washington, D.C. than Liz Cheney.
After backstabbing Republicans time and time again, she left the party one final betrayal.
And now, Cheney just gave Nancy Pelosi the gift of a lifetime.
Liz Cheney is everything that is wrong with Washington, D.C. today.
Having repeatedly campaigned against conservative champions for office in favor of liberal moderates who want to surrender to the Democrats on every issue, Cheney then went out of her way to provide cover for Democrats to impeach Donald Trump a second time.
And once the voters in her district called her out for her actions in siding with the Left, Cheney doubled down on her actions and began focusing all of her attention on fighting other Republicans instead of standing up for conservative principles.
In short, Liz Cheney is the very definition of a Republican In Name Only, and her stance on issue after issue represents why Republicans end up losing elections, because many of the party’s politicians care more about appeasing the Left than they do defending conservative principles.
Now, after Cheney was thrown out of office by her own constituents following a crushing primary defeat in Wyoming, she decided to leave Nancy Pelosi one final gift before she finally leaves Congress next January.
And Pelosi is thrilled at what Cheney just did for her.
The Washington Times reports, “Rep. Liz Cheney said Sunday that a ‘new conservative party’ is on the horizon if former President Donald Trump becomes the Republican presidential nominee in 2024.
“The remarks from Ms. Cheney, who lost her primary to a Trump-backed opponent, came at the same time that the Wyoming Republican would not rule out a third-party White House run to challenge the ex-president.”
To drive her point home, Cheney decided to appear on a liberal media outlet in order to add insult to injury.
During an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Cheney said, “I think that the party has either got to come back from where we are right now, which is a very dangerous and toxic place, or the party will splinter, and there will be a new conservative party that rises. And if Donald Trump is the nominee of the Republican Party, the party will shatter and there will be a conservative party that rises in its place.”
But that’s not all.
Cheney also said, “Right now, you’ve got a lot of Republicans, in particular — Democrats do the same thing — it just happens that our candidates are more dangerous right now.”
And in just one sentence, she provided Nancy Pelosi cover to continue to baselessly accuse conservatives of “endangering democracy.”
Like many RINOs, Cheney begs for media attention in order to prove that she isn’t a “bad” Republican like all of the others.
What she doesn’t seem to realize is that the Left is simply using her.
If Cheney ended up being the one to take over control of the Republican Party, the same people on the Left cheerleading for her would be throwing her to the wolves in a heartbeat.
But as long as she continues to serve a purpose in providing Democrats cover to attack conservatives, she will remain useful for the Left and they will continue to adore her.
