George Soros’ donation of one million dollars to the Color of Change committee that supported the election of Manhattan’s Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg paid off.
Fox News Channel’s John Roberts reported that District Attorney Bragg is ready to indict Trump on sham, politically motivated charges stemming from Michael Cohen paying Stormy Daniels $130,000 in October 2016.
“Now, when we are learning that the Manhattan DA’s office has asked for a meeting with law enforcement ahead of a potential Trump indictment, this is coming to Fox News from a source in the courts,” Roberts told viewers.
Federal prosecutors declined to bring charges in this matter and Bragg’s Democrat predecessor also passed on prosecuting this case.
Bragg is planning to bring — what The New York Times called “risky” and “novel” — charges on the preposterous theory that Trump allegedly falsifying business records to list paying back Cohen as a legal retainer violated New York State campaign finance law.
Trump was running for federal office at the time and charging him with state campaign finance violations defies all known logic and understanding of the law, but Bragg is under increasing pressure to indict Trump as polls show Trump gaining ground in the GOP nomination and leading Joe Biden in a 2024 rematch.
Roberts reported that Bragg’s office requested a meeting with the New York City Police Department to prepare security around the courthouse for when Bragg indicts Trump and brings him before a judge.
“The meeting, which was requested yesterday and has not been set yet, is to discuss logistics for some time next week, which would mean that they are anticipating an indictment next week. Same sources familiar with the planning said they will go over security preparations in and around the courthouse in lower Manhattan,” Roberts began.
Roberts added that the Secret Service will be the ones who decide if police handcuff Trump and perp walk him into the courthouse.
“Secret Service will take the lead in what they will allow or will not allow, the source cautioned, mentioning, for instance, that the decision to handcuff the president, a former president or not, they will set the tone and will escort him into the courtroom,” Roberts added.
“There will be coordination between all of us, the source said. But we will defer to the Secret Service. The battle will be between Secret Service and DA Alvin Bragg. They will decide how and when he’ll get into the building and they are not going to leave him,” Roberts continued.
Roberts told viewers that Bragg intended to humiliate Trump by fingerprinting him and releasing a mug shot.
“The source believes that the former president will still have to be fingerprinted and processed like every other defendant. So this is a huge development. If Alvin Bragg has decided to go ahead with a felony indictment of the former president, this was a charge that the federal officials refused to prosecute on or even really pursue,” Roberts concluded.
Trump then confirmed the reports saying the Democrat D.A. of Manhattan plans to arrest him on politically motivated charges.

FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
