Maxine Waters is staring down the barrel of a massive political crisis.
She was caught on video doing something unforgivable.
And what Maxine Waters got mixed up in is mushrooming into a scandal that could destroy the Democrat Party.
The Democrats are facing a growing anti-Semitism problem.
Liberals are embracing a social justice philosophy that views Israel as a colonial aggressor in the Middle East.
Even elected Democrats view the Jewish people defending their homeland like the South Africans who supported apartheid.
And Maxine Waters is at the center of this growing storm.
The California Democrat kicked off a nationwide controversy early last summer when she encouraged liberal rage mobs to stalk and terrorize Trump administration officials in public.
Now Waters is in the middle of the Democrats embrace of anti-Semitism.
Waters was caught on video hugging racist and anti-Semitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

Farrakhan recently compared Jews to termites when he said he wasn’t anti-Semitic, just “anti-termite.”
This is just the tip of the iceberg in the Democrats blossoming hatred of Israel.
Newly-elected Muslim Congresswoman Rashida Talib of Michigan was photographed with pro-Hezbollah activist, Abbas Hamideh, who is the co-founder and executive director of Al-Awda.
Al-Awda translates as “right of return,” which is the belief that Palestinians should drive the Jewish people out of Israel and claim the land for their own.
The other Muslim Congresswoman in this years’ Democrat freshmen class is Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
She recently invited controversy when an old tweet surfaced where she had blasted Israel for “hypnotizing” the rest of the world.
Ilhan’s tweet speaks to the old anti-Semitic trope that a secret and powerful Jewish cabal quietly manipulates world events.
All of these incidents are disturbing.
Taken in consideration individually, they show three anti-Semitic bigots.
But when you consider the fact that all three are in the Democrat Party, it paints a picture of a political coalition that counts hating Jews as an ideological litmus test.
The other aspect of this scandal is the coverage by the fake news media.
So-called “mainstream” media outlets have tip-toed around this story.
They recognize the blatant anti-Semitism and bigotry.
But they also know that the offenders are their ideological soulmates.
So they cover the story in such a way that it receives some attention, but not the flood zone of coverage where every elected Democrat is pressed to condemn the anti-Semitic remarks and behavior, as well as expel the offenders from their ranks.
Fake news reporters treat each case as isolated incidents and shield their audience from the fact that Democrats are perfectly happy accepting anti-Semites into their party.
In fact, they often roll out the welcome mat and praise these bigots for adding to the “diversity” of Congress.
There is no chance Republicans would be treated with such kid gloves.
Elected Republicans are still called on to answer for the hateful remarks of white supremacist David Duke, even though the party long ago repudiated Duke and his fellow white nationalists.
