Maxine Waters jumped to conclusions when she saw the police doing their duty.
She had to butt into a situation she didn’t belong.
Maxine Waters threw a shocking fit that got her in huge trouble with the police.
Democratic Rep. Maxine Water of California saw a black man being questioned by police in Los Angeles at a traffic stop.
She didn’t assume that the police were doing their job and had a reason for pulling the man over.
Waters has already shown that she is a radical when it comes to racial matters.
She claims that Trump was partially responsible for the death of George Floyd after a policeman knelt on his neck.
“My first thought was: ‘Not again, not one more killing,’” Waters told TMZ in May. “And I’m reflecting on all of the killings of young black men, in particular, but of course black women, too — at the hands of the police and at the hands of these white supremacists.”
“And I’m thinking about the way that the president conducts himself,” she continued. “In a way he’s dog-whistling, and I think that they’re feeling that they can get away with this kind of treatment.”
Last year,The Washington Post recorded just 13 unarmed black men were shot by police though they were quick to note that their list could be incomplete.
That is just a small minority of the 150 to 200 million interactions the police had with the public.
Yet when Rep. Maxine Waters saw the man being questioned, she pulled her SUV over to the side of the road and jumped out.
“They stopped a brother, so I stopped to see what they were doing,” Waters can be heard saying on the video.
“They say I’m in the wrong place,” Waters tells the people taping the video. “They say they’re going to give me a ticket.”
“The congresswoman was threatened with a ticket for initially pulling her SUV over and blocking traffic but refused to sign the citation and was let off with a warning,” The Daily Wire reported.
As it turns out, the authorities had a perfectly good reason for questioning the man.
“A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office told DailyMail.com that the motorist had been pulled over as part of a burglary investigation about 8.30 am Friday,” the report outlined. “They said Waters initially pulled her vehicle up to the traffic stop and began ‘yelling at the deputies.’”
A congresswoman should know to behave better than to start yelling at cops without even learning the reason for pulling over the man.
The Democrats needs to look at facts and figures and stop believing their own propaganda against the police.
