One of Donald Trump’s loudest and most obnoxious critics is California Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
Waters was one of the original voices calling for impeachment.
But Waters just answered one phone call that Democrats want to cover up.
“Auntie Maxine” doesn’t need help making a fool of herself.
But recently, she got some help when two Russian comedians prank-called her.
Vladimir “Vovan” Kuznetsov and Alexei “Lexus” Stolyarov called up Waters and convinced her that she was talking to far-left environmentalist mascot Greta Thunberg and her father.
The 17-year-old Swedish girl who’s admittedly on the spectrum has been paraded around by various leftist organizations as a cudgel against people who don’t buy into the doom-and-gloom climate hysteria, which is all a ruse to seize more control of the economy.
The comedians convinced Waters that Trump made Thunberg cry, and that Trump wanted the Ukrainian president to put Joe Biden on trial.
Waters wasn’t the only dim-witted Democrat to fall prey to the Russian pranksters.
Adam Schiff also got taken in by the duo, but the Waters case is particularly hilarious because the so-called mainstream media made the incident even more embarrassing.
The Washington Post ran a story suggesting that Kuznetsov and Stolyarov are actual assets of the Russian government whose state-sponsored mission is to make U.S. politicians look bad.
The Democrats’ Russia hysteria never ceases.
By this logic, everyone in Russia and Russians abroad could potentially be assets of the Russian government.
If this sounds ridiculous, special counsel Robert Mueller’s team literally looked for Trump connections to Russia everywhere, including American citizens of Russian descent.
The story can’t simply be that Auntie Maxine got played for the fool she is.
Instead, it’s an elaborate scheme of Vladimir Putin to embarrass a politician who beclowns herself on a regular basis.
Waters told her constituents to harass Trump associates in public, but quickly became coy when she was faced with the same tactics.
Decades earlier, in light of the bloody L.A. riots that resulted in the deaths of dozens of people and billions in property damage, Maxine called the carnage in her own city a “rebellion.”
The Washington Post article also cuts to a deeper problem of the Democrats.
They no longer have a sense of humor.
The left understands the power of mockery, which they’ve been using against conservatives for decades.
This is why they hate the satirical site The Babylon Bee.
Comedy exposes just how ludicrous the left’s ideas are.
The Democrats and their media allies have constructed a narrative where Russia essentially controls the entire globe though Putin’s maneuvering.
If only the left had been this skeptical of Russia when they were a superpower hellbent on spreading communism throughout the world.
They didn’t bat an eye when communists were literally working in the U.S. State Department on behalf of the Soviet Union.
But today, Russian comics are the true threat to democracy.
