Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez picked the wrong fight.
This one blew up in her face.
Megyn Kelly dropped the hammer on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with this crushing truth.
Establishment Congressman Dan Crenshaw recently appeared on Megyn Kelly’s podcast to discuss his social media back and forth with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
While Crenshaw was campaigning in Georgia ahead of the January 5 Senate runoff, Crenshaw attacked Ocasio-Cortez and her socialist, Anti-American agenda as an example of why the Democrats are too dangerous to hold power.
Kelly noted how Ocasio-Cortez fired back on social media and Kelly pointed out that Ocasio-Cortez adopts the whiny posture of a victim when she feels that she is under attack.
“You’ve got the AOC wing of the party versus the more moderate, we’re told that’s more the Biden wing of the party,” Kelly stated. “You’ve had some dust-ups with her including on Twitter just in the last couple of days where you know, she likes to play the victim a lot. A lot.”
“And you’re always calling her out on it, and then what I notice is if she makes a false claim of victimhood and you call her out on it, then she reacts as a victim in response to your latest tweet,” Kelly explained.
Crenshaw agreed with Kelly and noted how childish her responses were.
“She’s good at this sort of juvenile argumentation, but it is juvenile. It is always below the belt. It’s never honest. It’s always a misconstruing of words.” Crenshaw declared.
On the campaign trail, Crenshaw—who served in Afghanistan and lost an eye in an IED explosion—compared his experience fighting on behalf of America in Afghanistan to Ocasio-Cortez’s background as a bartender.
Ocasio-Cortez completely missed the point and falsely claimed Crenshaw and other Republicans sneered at working class Americans.
Crenshaw responded by mocking Ocasio-Cortez for completely missing the point of his remarks.
“Lol thank you for highlighting how ridiculous you sound. We ‘republican elites’ who fought in the mountains of Afghanistan will just go ahead and check our privilege,” Crenshaw wrote in response to Ocasio-Cortez.
Kelly alluded to this exchange laughing at Ocasio-Cortez for this grievance-based brand of politics.
“It’s just a never-ending cycle of how mean you are and how victimized she is, and Republicans writ large are just awful because of something you said,” Kelly said to Crenshaw.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did not come out of this back and forth looking good.
In fact, Megyn Kelly pointed out how Ocasio-Cortez represents the fundamental weakness of modern-day liberalism.
Democrats count on tricking voters into thinking they are victims because America is systemically racist, sexist, homophobic, and xenophobic.
If Americans do not see themselves as downtrodden and helpless bystanders in the national experience then they will reject liberalism and the Democrat Party.
And that is why Ocasio-Cortez’s go-to move in politics is to play the victim card.
