The Democrats keep accusing Trump of mismanaging the coronavirus crisis.
There’s just one large problem with that accusation.
Mike Pence hit Joe Biden with an accusation of theft that sent him reeling.
The Democrats like to pretend that if they had been in control of the presidency, many Americans’ lives would have been saved.
The only problem is that they can’t explain how they would have done it.
Democratic nominee Joe Biden has claimed in the past that he saved “millions of lives” by keeping Ebola from spreading to America during his time as Vice President.
However, Ebola is an illness that basic hygiene can stop the spread of since it takes prolonged contact in order to spread.
There’s no magic way to stop an illness that’s easier to spread than the flu.
Mike Pence pointed out during the vice presidential debate that Democratic nominee Joe Biden wasn’t providing America with a startling new plan. He was just copying Trump’s ideas.
“The reality is when you look at the Biden plan, it reads an awful lot like what President Trump and I and our task force have been doing every step of the way. Quite frankly, when I look at their plan, which talks about advancing testing, creating new PPE, developing a vaccine, it looks a little bit like plagiarism, which is something Joe Biden knows a little bit about,” Pence said, referencing Biden’s long history of plagiarism accusations.
“I think the American people know that this is a president who has put the health of American people first. And the American people, I believe in my heart, can be proud of the sacrifices they have made. It saved countless American lives,” Pence said.
During Biden’s first run for president in 1987,he caused controversy because of reports that he ripped off an acclaimed speech by British politician Neil Kinnock.
In the speech, Kinnock said, “Why am I the first Kinnock in a thousand generations to be able to get to university? Why is Glenys the first woman in her family in a thousand generations to be able to get to university? Was it because all our predecessors were thick?”
Biden made a shockingly close speech.
“Why is it that Joe Biden is the first in his family ever to go to a university?” Biden asked. “Why is it that my wife who is sitting out there in the audience is the first in her family to ever go to college? Is it because our fathers and mothers were not bright?”
To make matters worse, Biden wasn’t even the first member of his family to go to college.
It was a scandal at the time and caused Biden to drop out of the race just 11 days after the reports of his plagiarism broke in the news.
