RINO Senators are still working against Donald Trump’s agenda.
But this time swamp Republicans crossed the line by selling Donald Trump out to a hostile foreign power.
And Mitch McConnell just betrayed Donald Trump to Mexico with this awful double cross.
Recently Donald Trump cleared house at the Department of Homeland Security.
Top officials at the agency fought Donald Trump’s crackdowns on illegal immigration to make themselves look good to the liberal media.
President Trump sought to fill those positions with conservatives that believed in his “Make America Great Again” agenda.
This restructuring proved necessary as the situation at the Southern border reached national crisis levels.
In the month of May, the Customs and Border Patrol arrested 144,000 illegal aliens trying to invade the county.
This number included over 84,000 family units.
By comparison in May 2017, the Border Patrol stopped just over 1,000 family units.
One key position in Homeland Security is the Director of U.S. Citizenship and Customs.
President Trump wants to nominate former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli to fill that post.
While Cuccinelli opposed the President during the campaign, Cuccinelli came to support the President and his agenda during his time as a CNN contributor where he was one of the few pro-Trump voices remaining on the network.
But Cuccinelli faces a virtually impossible road to confirmation.
And it’s not because of any scandal in his past or Democrat opposition.
Senate Republicans led by king RINO Mitch McConnell intend to sink the nomination.
McConnell despises Cuccinelli because Cuccinelli took over the head of the Senate Conservative Fund –a group started by former South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint to elect conservatives and defeat RINOs.
The Senate Conservative Fund backed the current Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin in his primary challenge to McConnell in 2014.
Establishment “Republican” Senators – who often are indistinguishable from Democrats – lined up behind McConnell to oppose Cuccinelli.
“He’s spent a fair amount of his career attacking Republicans in the Senate, so it strikes me as an odd position for him to put himself in to seek Senate confirmation,” Texas Senator John Cornyn told Politico. “It’s unlikely he’s going to be confirmed if he is nominated.”
“They’ll go forward with it or they won’t, but I will suspect he’ll have plenty of obstacles once he gets here,” South Dakota RINO John Thune added.
But Cuccinelli shows no sign of backing down.
“My focus right now is on achieving President Trump’s immigration goals. It would certainly be my hope that senators’ primary interest is in the accomplishment of policy rather than politics,” Cuccinelli told Politico in a written statement.
Immigration is Donald Trump’s signature issue.
But RINOs like Mitch McConnell and his traitorous companions would rather sell out the country to Mexico by maintaining the pro-open borders status quo than confirm a qualified nominee because of a petty political fight from years ago.
