Establishment Republicans rushed to join the liberal media pile on Donald Trump after the tragedy in Charlottesville.
They sprinted to social media and TV cameras to parrot liberal lies about Trump’s comments.
But Mitt Romney stood out from the pack after he committed a head scratching act of treachery.
Romney echoed leftists who claimed “there was only one side” to the violence in Charlottesville.
No, not the same. One side is racist, bigoted, Nazi. The other opposes racism and bigotry. Morally different universes.

He joined the other failed Republican Presidential candidate who lost to Barack Obama – John McCain – in covering up the left wing violence on display in Charlottesville.
There's no moral equivalency between racists & Americans standing up to defy hate& bigotry. The President of the United States should say so

Their comments were lies and unspeakable betrayals of Trump.
Trump forcefully condemned hatred and bigotry.
And he called out the white supremacists by name for the violence that led to the death of 32-year-old Heather Heyer.
But Trump also pointed out – accurately – that the alt-left was also responsible for the violence.
Even CNN was forced to admit that violent left-wing protestors assaulted journalists and even beat one to the point where they suffered a concussion.
At least two journalists in Charlottesville were assaulted by people protesting the Klan/Nazi/alt-right rally. Taylor is one: https://t.co/haVOw89uTN

Romney whitewashed this violence against journalists with his silence on the mayhem caused by the alt-left.
And he gave a permission slip to the alt-left – or anti-fa – to continue to terrorize Trump supporters.
Earlier this year at what was called the Battle of Berkley, violent alt-left protesters bashed Trump supporters heads in with bike locks.
And just recently a Pennsylvania man who was a die-hard Trump hater allegedly killed his neighbor over his support for the President.
This blood is on Romney and McCain’s hands now that they’ve decided to stand shoulder to shoulder with the alt-left and anti-fa.
