Bernie Sanders and his campaign team were livid.
As the Democrat Party frontrunner, Sanders was counting on unified support from the fake news media.
But that all changed when MSNBC gave Donald Trump this big win that made Bernie Sanders go red with rage.
It’s quite an accomplishment to be so radical that MSNBC won’t support you yet Bernie Sanders manages it.
The fact of the matter is that the Democrat establishment wants a radical that will talk big about socialism but will protect the American economy at the end of the day.
But Bernie Sanders truly believes in the socialism that most other Democrats only pretend to believe in.
While other Democrats would add a social program or two, Bernie Sanders would try and overhaul the American economy.
That would be disastrous, not just for rich Americans but middle-class Americans and for poor Americans.
It will be young people, minorities and people with disabilities that will be most vulnerable to losing their jobs and losing their homes.
Of course, Bernie Sanders has a government solution for those problems too. The government will provide a job to everyone who wants one and the government will provide housing.
The only problem is that if the last century has taught us anything, it’s that communism fails and that the government doesn’t provide for people as well as the free market system.
The free market system isn’t perfect but government oppression is worse.
And even the Democrats can see that Bernie Sanders would be bad for America.
MSNBC’s Chris Matthews even suggested the possibility that America would be better off with Trump.
According to the Washington Examiner:
Matthews, 74, brought up the possibility that centrist Democrats may prefer Trump over the socialist Sanders during the network’s Saturday afternoon coverage of the Nevada caucuses. The host of Hardball with Chris Matthews was leading a conversation about how centrist candidates were splitting the vote, likely a detriment to one another but a benefit for Sanders.
“I’m wondering whether the Democratic moderates want Bernie Sanders to be president,” he said. “That’s maybe too exciting a question to raise. They don’t like Trump at all. Do they want Bernie Sanders to take over the Democratic Party in perpetuity? I mean, he takes it over, he sets the direction of the future of the party — maybe they’d rather wait four years and put in a Democrat that they like.”
“I mean, that’s the big question, right?” Adrienne Elrod, a former senior adviser to Hillary Clinton, responded. “And you know, the narrative that you’re starting to see play out, Chris, is that there are people that are concerned, strategists that are concerned that Bernie Sanders being at the top of the ticket will force us to lose the House. I don’t necessarily think that’s the case.”
Matthews has frequently disparaged the Vermont senator in recent days, accusing Sanders of being “full of it” and arguing that he’d be a “miserable president” if he got elected. He has also predicted that Sanders would lose 49 states if he went up against Trump in the general election.
When even MSNBC is questioning if Bernie Sanders should be president, Bernie Sanders has a real problem.
Bernie Sanders isn’t able to unite the Democrat Party because he’s so radically insane and that will make it almost impossible for him to win the general election.
