The media, Democrats, and establishment Republicans fell all over themselves to condemn Donald Trump for saying there was violence on “many sides” at Charlottesville.
They tried to cover up the involvement of the violent Antifa gang.
But now Nancy Pelosi has said something so unbelievable, nothing will ever be the same again.
Recently, a rally called “Against Hate” was organized in Berkley, California in response to a “Patriot Prayer” rally that was scheduled to take place in San Francisco.
A small group of Trump supporters were at the event and were attacked by hundreds of club wielding thugs from Antifa.
The Antifa goons were dressed in their trademark black with masks and descended upon the peaceful Trump supporters with shields, bats, clubs and mace.
They menaced the demonstrators until deciding to fully attack—at which point they proceeded to beat and terrorize the innocent Trump supporters.
The attack – which many labeled domestic terrorism – appalled many Americans.
But it was met with silence from Republicans like Mitt Romney, John McCain, and Marco Rubio.
These establishment Republicans came down in support of Antifa and absolved the terrorist gang of any responsibility for the violence at Charlottesville so that they could instead attack Trump for correctly stating there were violent left-wing protestors also at the event.
But they were put to shame when Nancy Pelosi came out and publically condemned Antifa and their violent tactics.
“Democratic House Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) issued a statement late Tuesday denouncing violent left-wing “Antifa” protesters, saying they deserve “unequivocal condemnation” — a move that marks a significant shift away from a Democratic narrative that attacked President Trump for highlighting violence from the “alt-left.”
Pelosi released the statement in the wake of the latest bout of left-wing violence in Berkeley, California, over the weekend. “Antifa” protesters jumped barricades and assaulted peaceful demonstrators at a right-wing event on Sunday.
The events are the latest in a number of violent acts by the left-wing thugs, often seen all clad in black and smashing windows, but many acts have been largely ignored by the mainstream media. Yet since President Trump highlighted the largely unreported left-wing violence surrounding the events of Charlottesville, Virginia, such acts have slowly been receiving more coverage.
Pelosi had previously called for the House to censure Trump over his response to Charlottesville, but with the increasing rise of left-wing violence, on Tuesday she released a statement condemning the left-wing rioters.
“Our democracy has no room for inciting violence or endangering the public, no matter the ideology of those who commit such acts,” Pelosi said in a statement. “The violent actions of people calling themselves Antifa in Berkeley this weekend deserve unequivocal condemnation, and the perpetrators should be arrested and prosecuted.”
“In California, as across all of our great nation, we have deep reverence for the Constitutional right to peaceful dissent and free speech,” she said. “Non-violence is fundamental to that right. Let us use this sad event to reaffirm that we must never fight hate with hate, and to remember the values of peace, openness and justice that represent the best of America.”
Paul Ryan was another Republican and Antifa-sympathizer who refused to condemn the group for their role in the Charlottesville violence.
In an act of cowardice, Ryan released a statement through his spokeswoman condemning Antifa only after Pelosi spoke out against the group first.
Ryan has yet to personally speak out against Antifa and call them by their name.
The silence from Ryan and other establishment Republicans left Trump supporters in the position of having Nancy Pelosi herself defend their rights to not being beaten by left-wing thugs instead of supposed top figures in their own party who gave support to Antifa with their silence.
