Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden formed a partnership that pushed the most dangerous socialist agenda in American history.
However, Pelosi just told Joe Biden “no” in a big way.
And Nancy Pelosi humiliated Joe Biden with one stunning rejection.
Nancy Pelosi arranged to be the first speaker of the House since 1997 to travel to Taiwan.
The Communist Chinese blew a gasket threatening “resolute and strong measures” if Pelosi followed through on her trip.
Chinese Communists view Taiwan – which is where the legitimate government of China took refuge following the communist takeover in 1949 – as a part of mainland China.
Taiwan – as well as anyone opposed to the Communist Chinese people’s evil rule – views the island as a sovereign, democratic nation.
Donald Trump provided a check on Communist China, but since Joe Biden took office Chinese President Xi Jinping sensed weakness and began building up the People’s Liberation Army for an invasion of Taiwan.
Joe Biden blinked in the face of Communist Chinese aggression and chose the route of appeasement.
Biden told reporters Pelosi should bow to the wishes of Communist China and not visit Taiwan claiming the military did not want Pelosi to make her trip.
“Well, I think that the military thinks it’s not a good idea right now,” Biden told reporters. “But I don’t know what the status of it is.”
But both Republicans and Democrats in Congress urged Pelosi to proceed with the trip and ignore Biden’s attempt to kowtow before Communist China.
“If I were the speaker, I’d be going,” Texas Republican Pete Sessions stated.
“If she wants to go, I certainly think she should go. And I think she should be more motivated to go now that she’s been discouraged, and colleagues should join her,” retiring Missouri Senator Roy Blunt declared.
“I think it’s important that we go over there and tell Taiwan that they are an important democratic ally. We ought to be clear there is no ambiguity that we will support them if they get invaded by communist China,” Florida Senator Rick Scott explained.
“The Chinese are not going to restrict the speaker of the House’s travel,” Connecticut Democrat Jim Himes asserted.
“Nobody should not go someplace because the Chinese government — which is guilty of genocide — is speaking in threatening terms,” Massachusetts Democrat Jim McGovern told NBC News.
Communist China may be the greatest threat the United States ever confronted.
The Communist Chinese intend to displace America as the world’s number one superpower.
Conquering Taiwan is step one in that plan to turn the 21st century into the “Chinese Century.”
And Joe Biden is willing to roll over and play dead for Beijing.
Had Pelosi followed through on Joe Biden’s public request to cancel her Taiwan visit it would have been a public humiliation on the world stage on par with the disaster in Afghanistan.
