After impeaching President Trump, Nancy Pelosi’s life has become a total wreck.
She can’t even speak at a press conference without that being apparent.
And she was a nervous wreck after Trump said five life-changing words.
Despite the recent impeachment vote being historic, considering it is the third time a president has been impeached, it means nothing.
Democrats simply impeached Trump because they don’t like him, and wanted to hang the impeachment label over his presidency so they could be seen as the “good guys” against an impeached President.
But all of this will come back to bite Democrats, especially when President Trump is re-elected in 2020, which polling indicates is extremely likely.
The impeachment will then become even more historic considering that Trump would become the first President to be re-elected after facing impeachment.
After all, Democrats are not going to actually succeed in removing Trump from office.
The Senate is stacked against them, and with 100% of Republicans in the House opposing impeachment, things are not going to be good for them in a chamber they don’t control.
That’s why Democrats are indicating they may not even start a Senate trial.
Pelosi came out with no answers about when they will send their impeachment call to the Senate to start the trial, and even left the door open for never doing it.
If the Senate never clears Trump, they can continue to use his impeachment to claim he is guilty.
But President Trump rained on their parade, using his Twitter account to blast them for this scheme, and pointed out how it won’t work.
“Now the Do-Nothing Party want to Do Nothing with the Articles and not deliver them to the Senate, but it’s Senate’s call!” Trump wrote on Twitter.
After all, it is the job of the Senate to set the time and place of an impeachment trial.
So as Trump points out, if they decide to just do nothing, Trump will win by default considering he has nobody to speak against him.
That’s why Trump finished his tweet with five simple words proving that their entire impeachment scheme is dead, stating that if they don’t show up at the trial, “they would lose by Default!”
At this point, Trump wants the trial to happen in the Senate.
Democrats have been able to make all the rules, and stack hearing rooms against him when the impeachment hearings were in the House.
Now he has the chance to clear his name in a court where he will get a fair shake.
Republicans in the Senate will surely stand with him.
Trump followed up to his previous tweet to laud Republicans for their unity in the House.
“100 percent Republican Vote. That’s what people are talking about,” he wrote. “The Republicans are united like never before!”
Even the Democrats don’t have complete unity, with a number of Democrats voting against impeachment.
