The race for the Democrat nomination is finally beginning to thin.
There is now a clear top tier of candidates.
And a new poll proves that a top Trump challenger is about to drop out of the race.
The Democrat Party is falling apart.
They have become so radical that people are no longer taking them seriously.
And there is no better way to showcase that than to look at the candidates running for President right now.
They are some of the most extreme candidates in history.
And that is extremely good news for President Trump.
Virtually every candidate in the race supports far-left positions like socialized medicine and outright gun confiscation laws.
These proposals are insane to any reasonable American, giving Trump a major boost, and a lot of ammo to use against whoever he ends up challenging in the general election.
And the latest polling makes it abundantly clear that candidate will not be South Bend, Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
A poll from Politico/Morning Consult shows that the failed Mayor trails President Trump by six votes, bringing in a measly 32 percent in a matchup with Trump.
In fact, the poll shows that there are only three real challengers to President Trump.
Former Vice President Joe Biden leads Trump by six votes, with 46 percent to Trump’s 40 percent, while Bernie Sanders is ahead by five points and Elizabeth Warren with two points.
Of course, these early polls never mean much.
President Trump has had little time to even mount a campaign against any of these candidates.
But the fact that Buttigieg is so far behind in a poll that clearly favors Democrats is shocking.
For months, the media has been hyping Buttigieg.
The fact he is gay is an exciting thing for the mainstream media who is set on pushing diversity over substance.
There is little reason to actually support him when his record is put under scrutiny.
South Bend, Indiana is not doing well as a city.
They still have a high unemployment rate, with crime being a major problem.
This is despite the fact that Buttigieg pledged to hamper the crime problem in the city.
Once taking office, he set up an initiative to mentor those who are likely to commit crimes.
But in reality, it didn’t do a thing, and since the program was put into effect, crime is just as rampant as it was initially.
And even more, embarrassing for Buttigieg is that one of the people on the board of his initiative ended up in prison for a violent crime.
All these facts are casting a lot of doubt on his leadership ability.
At the start of his campaign, when nobody was paying attention he could make all the promises in the world.
But under scrutiny, his character is put into serious doubt.
It appears that voters are smart enough to understand that.
Do you think Pete Buttigieg should drop out of the race?
