After eight years in office, former President Obama left America in bad shape.
President Donald Trump was elected to undo the wrongdoings of the Obama administration.
And Obama is fuming with anger after major Trump news just dropped.
The mainstream media wants to avoid saying anything good about President Trump.
They also try to make it sound like the American people who elected him have fully turned on him.
But after his first year in office, it is becoming much harder for them to do that.
New polling from Rasmussen shows that Trump has a majority of support from likely U.S. voters.
The poll shows that Trump has reached a 50% approval rating, with 49% disapproving.
Rasmussen’s results came from a mix of randomly selected participants on both phone and online platforms.
Former President Obama is sure to be infuriated by these results because it shows that Trump has a higher rating than he did at the same point in his presidency.
Obama was polled at 46% approval one year into his presidency, showing that President Trump is doing a better job in the eyes of the American people.
As reported by Breitbart:
“President Donald Trump has reached a 50 percent approval rating, according to the latest Rasmussen poll of American voters.
On Monday, Rasmussen’s daily tracking poll showed that 50 percent of likely U.S. voters approved of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-nine percent disapproved.
Trump’s remarkable milestone occurs in the second year of his presidency. Obama was at 46 percent on April 2 of 2010, the second year of his presidency.
Rasmussen’s daily tracking results are collected via telephone surveys of 500 likely voters per night and reported on a three-day rolling average basis as well as through an online survey tool of randomly selected participants. The margin of sampling error for the full sample of 1,500 Likely Voters is +/- 2.5 percentage points.”
The formation of the Tea Party could likely be linked directly to the reason for Obama’s approval rating one year into his presidency.
Millions of Americans were fed up with the “change” Obama was bringing.
They were specifically fed up over his healthcare bill, dubbed “Obamacare.”
The prospect of government-run healthcare infuriated droves of Americans, and encouraged them to take action.
In comparison, Trump’s opposition has been laughable.
Leftists tried to make their “resistance” movement into the left-wing equivalent to the Tea Party.
But the left didn’t have much to rile Americans up about.
And with President Trump’s historic tax cuts it became even harder for the left to mobilize against Trump.
Millions of Americans began seeing more money in their paychecks in response to the leadership of the President.
It is hard to convince people that President Trump is opposed to their interests when he’s putting more money in their paychecks every month.
The new polling showing majorly increased support for the President only gives more credence to that fact.
