Democrats are latching onto hope that they can defeat Trump.
They are working every day to force him out of office.
But one poll just crushed all of the Democrats’ hopes and dreams.
The latest plan to take down Trump was through his alleged affair with Stormy Daniels.
They have been playing it up for weeks, and even hosted an interview with Daniels on CNN.
But despite their insistence that it is an important issue, the public as a whole doesn’t agree.
A new Quinnipiac poll shows that a measly 23 percent of Americans believe the alleged affair is an important issue.
And that belief isn’t a partisan issue.
51 percent of Democrats and 79 percent of independents believe the alleged affair isn’t a big issue.
This belief is in major contrast to what the mainstream media wants you to believe.
Their around the clock coverage of Stormy Daniels is designed to make it look like an important issue.
But as it turns out, the American people don’t really care that much.
As reported by The Daily Caller:
“Despite heavy media coverage of President Trump’s alleged affair with Stormy Daniels, the public does not think that the story is an “important issue.”
Much has been made of the fact that Michael Cohen, Trump’s attorney, made a $130,000 hush payment to Stormy Daniels and then recently had his office raided by the FBI. However, a new Quinnipiac poll shows that the average American is less than enthralled with the sex scandal.
The poll, which was released Tuesday, shows that only 23 percent of Americans believe the alleged affair is an “important issue.”
The yawns cut across party lines, as even a majority — 51 percent — of Democrats do not think the story is important. A whopping 90 percent of Republicans and 79 percent of independent voters agreed it is not a big issue.
The numbers held fairly consistent when the poll respondents were asked, “Do you think the question of whether or not President Trump knew about the payment to Stormy Daniels is an important issue?”
Just 38 percent of total respondents said they think Trump’s knowledge of the $130,000 payment is important.
The answer to that question was much more partisan. Seventy-three percent of Democrats think Trump’s knowledge of the payment is important, while just 10 percent of Republicans and 32 percent of independents think so.”
While the media is focused on manufactured scandals, President Trump is focused on getting things done.
His work over the past few months, including passing tax cuts and imposing tariffs on China are wildly popular.
Trump’s approval rating has skyrocketed to a point that it is higher than Obama’s approval rating was at the same point in his presidency.
It seems that the American people are done listening to the mainstream media.
