Special counsel Robert Mueller finally found his man.
Mueller relentlessly terrorized Trump supporters until he found one willing to turn on the President of the United States.
And Donald Trump was left speechless when he found out who Mueller flipped to sell him out.
Throughout the course of his investigation, Mueller’s go-to tactic has been threatening to throw the book at Trump’s associates when he catches them in process crimes so he can pressure them into fabricating testimony against the President.
Mueller executed this strategy with Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen.
And now the latest Trump supporter offering to cooperate with Mueller is conservative journalist Jerome Corsi.
Corsi owns a complicated history with Mueller and his gang of 17 angry Democrat prosecutors.
Last November, Corsi ended plea negotiations with Mueller’s office because Corsi revealed Mueller wanted him to sign onto a lie.
Mueller pressured Corsi to sign a plea agreement falsely stating that he was the go-between for the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks.
Corsi and his legal team then slapped Mueller with a 350 million dollar lawsuit.
But now Corsi is singing a different tune.
Mueller named Corsi as “person 1” in his indictment of Trump associate Roger Stone.
Stone testified to Congress that New York City radio host Randy Credico acted as his intermediary with WikiLeaks.
But Mueller claimed Corsi also supplied Stone with information on WikiLeaks plans.
“On or about August 2, 2016, Person 1 emailed STONE. Person 1 wrote that he was currently in Europe and planned to return in or around mid-August. Person 1 stated in part, “Word is friend in embassy plans 2 more dumps. One shortly after I’m back. 2nd in Oct. Impact planned to be very damaging.” The phrase “friend in embassy” referred to the head of Organization 1. That appears to be the game hackers are now about. Would not hurt to start suggesting HRC old, memory bad, has stroke – neither he nor she well. I expect that much of next dump focus, setting stage for Foundation debacle,” Mueller wrote in his indictment of Stone.
When Mueller indicted Stone, he ordered his private goon paramilitary force to arrest Stone – and leaked word of it to CNN so they could capture the overwhelming show of force – in order to intimidate other witnesses into cooperating.
This strategy paid off as Corsi made it clear he’ll happily testify against Stone.
“I will be happy to testify, if — I would suspect to be subpoenaed,” Corsi told CNN’s State of the Union host Jake Tapper. “And I will let the testimony fall wherever it falls. I’m going to tell the truth, to the best of my ability.”
“I’m going to do my best to tell the truth, without calculation of whom it benefits or whom it detracts,” Corsi concluded.
Of course, Stone is not Mueller’s true target.
Donald Trump is.
But Mueller wants to line up as many witnesses as possible to force Stone to give up his legal battle and agree to cooperate in the face of overwhelming odds.
At that point, Mueller will squeeze Stone to provide false testimony that he discussed WikiLeaks with Trump.
Mueller will then be able to press forward with the case that Trump lied in his written answers, giving Congress the grounds to file articles of impeachment against the President of the United States.
