Robert Mueller never intended to fail.
He saw it as his job to destroy Donald Trump.
And he may have just found this awful way to put Trump behind bars.
Robert Mueller Finds A Backdoor Way To Attack Trump
Both of Robert Mueller’s collusion and obstruction of justice investigations have flopped.
Even Deep State apologist Rod Rosenstein is reportedly pressuring Mueller to wrap it up.
Trump supporters took that news to mean that Mueller has found nothing.
Unfortunately, that does not mean Robert Mueller is going to close up shop and admit defeat.
He knows what his job is.
And he won’t rest until he exhausts every avenue possible to destroy Donald Trump.
And he may have just found it.
Back in April, federal agents raided the home and office of Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.
They acted on information Mueller had passed on to them.
Mueller could not make the move on Cohen because it fell outside the scope of his investigation.
Prosecutors pressed Cohen on so-called “hush money” payments he made to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal in October 2016.
These payments were not criminal because Cohen would have made these payments even if Trump wasn’t running for office to spare his wife embarrassment.
But prosecutors also squeezed Cohen on other financial crimes, which he ended up pleading guilty to.
However, to get a good plea deal, Cohen had to plead guilty to campaign finance violations.
He also had to claim that it was Trump who ordered him to do so.
Trump fired back and said Cohen was lying.
He told the Associated Press, “Oh, absolutely he’s lying. And Michael Cohen was a PR person who did small legal work, very small legal work. And what he did was very sad, when you look. By the way, he was in trouble not for what he did for me; he was in trouble for what he did for himself.”
Cohen Meets With Prosecutors
CNN exclusively reported that state of New York and federal prosecutors met with Cohen:
Michael Cohen and his attorney met Wednesday with a group of state and federal law enforcement officials investigating various aspects of President Donald Trump’s family business and charitable organization, according to people familiar with the meeting.
The group, which included the federal prosecutors from the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York who charged Cohen in August and officials from the New York Attorney General’s office, met at the Midtown New York City office of Cohen’s attorney, Guy Petrillo, these people said.
Prosecutors in the Southern District of New York and State Attorney General’s office are gunning after Trump’s business and charities.
Liberals have long believed this is how they will take down Donald Trump.
They contend he did not release his tax returns because of his financial crimes that go back for years.
And Mueller is hoping Cohen will provide the smoking gun that will implicate Trump in massive criminal activity.
But will Mueller let the left down again?
