Mueller was terrified when he heard what Republicans have planned next.
It’s nothing short of disastrous for him.
Robert Mueller wished he hadn’t written his report when he heard what’s coming.
It was clear that Mueller was trying to attack the President when he released his report.
Despite not having any information that was incriminating, Mueller tried to paint Trump in the worst light possible.
Despite not having any evidence that Trump had committed any crime or any cover-up, Mueller refused to give any judgement since he couldn’t prove Trump was innocent.
This is America, where people are innocent until they are found guilty, but Mueller was still helping the Democrats lay the groundwork for a possible impeachment against Trump for obstruction of justice.
Now Mueller is the one under investigation as Republicans try to get to the bottom of the Russian collusion origins.
Rep. Devin Nunes, the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, said that the Republicans are expanding the investigations and that criminal referrals can be expected soon.
“We’ve also expanded our investigation into the Mueller team and everything that happened with Mueller and the people at DOJ and FBI that were above Mueller. And so, we will be making criminal referrals in the coming weeks against the Mueller team. We’re just now putting that together and, of course, as always, waiting on more documents that we really need to come out,” Nunes said to Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett.
Nunes continued that Mueller should never have continued his investigation because Mueller must have known from the start that there was no collusion.
He also praised acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell for getting “a lot of this information out.”
Adam Schiff had been stalling with getting the information to the public since it made the Democrat investigation look ridiculous.
The witness transcript showed Obama’s spy chief and other top officials had no clear evidence of Russian collusion, they were just going off hearsay.
“Nunes sent eight criminal referrals to the Justice Department last year, and Attorney General William Barr appointed U.S. Attorney John Durham to conduct an investigation into misconduct by the officials involved in that affair. Democrats have decried the efforts of Barr and Durham as a play at undermining the credibility of Mueller’s investigation,” the Washington Examiner reported.
Another serious question Mueller is facing is whether or not he had access to the newly released FBI documents that showed the FBI was trying to trap Flynn in a perjury trap.
Now that the Mueller investigation is coming under fire, the Democrats are trying to distance themselves away from it and blame it for not being thorough enough.
Adam Schiff said that Mueller “was not the man that I knew just in terms of his strength of presence.”
If members of the Mueller team end up in legal trouble, the Democrats want to claim that the reason Mueller failed was because he just wasn’t up to the job.
