Tucker Carlson continues to prove he is the king of TV news.
His populist message is exactly what America is craving, today more than ever.
And one rumor about Carlson’s future now has everyone on edge.
While Carlson is winning big on television news, it is clear that this isn’t going to be his final position.
But when it comes to television, he doesn’t have anywhere higher up to go.
So there have long been rumors that he would jump into politics.
And New York Times reporter Farhad Manjoo explains just how terrifying this would be for leftists like him.
In an article titled “Tucker Carlson 2024” he explains exactly how Carlson is in the perfect position to run for President in 2024, and how that is his nightmare.
The subheading for the article reads:
“I tried to imagine a president worse than Trump. Welcome to my nightmare.”
The article itself walks him through what he describes as a “recurrent nightmare,” where Tucker Carlson is president.
He writes in the New York Times:
“Come, take a stroll with me through my recurrent nightmare: It’s the sweltering summer of 2029, and the man in charge is Tucker Carlson — that is, President Tucker Carlson, the one-time Fox News talker turned righteous, white nationalist economic populist, now in his triumphant second term, after having defeated the incumbent Joseph “Recession Joe” Biden back in 2024.”
Manjoo goes on to explain that while he believes Trump is a “chaotic, undisciplined narcissist,” Carlson would win as “a canny political strategist,” who ultimately “makes good on Trump’s forgotten promise to embrace anti-corporate economic policies.”
He explains that Carlson’s biggest enemies as president would be Google, Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, and “the megacorporations owned and staffed by wealthy liberals.”
Despite Manjoo’s clear animus towards President Trump as a political strategist and pure hatred against Carlson, he is right in many regards.
Every night on his show, Carlson rails against issues that affect regular Americans.
That’s why he consistently ranks among the top shows on television.
If he takes that message to the campaign trail in the way he does on television, he will immediately become a top contender.
And the media will work to destroy him with lies much like they do to Trump.
Manjoo, who is a far-left enemy of President Trump and Tucker Carlson, already lays out the attacks that Carlson will face.
Throughout the article, Carlson is referred to as a “white nationalist.”
White nationalism is a very real thing, with a real definition, but when the left uses the term, it means virtually nothing more than “somebody I don’t like.”
Believing in a sane border policy, that doesn’t involve importing millions of people from third-world countries, makes somebody a white nationalist in the eyes of the left.
And when the media begins to throw these sorts of attacks at Carlson, it will be clear that the American people will see through it.
President Donald Trump proves that more than anybody.
Even with every media outlet attacking him relentlessly he has been able to thrive, and even strike back at the fake news media.
Carlson could do the same, in an even greater way considering that he is already one of the top stars on television.
