Democrats are constantly searching for a way to shut down Rush Limbaugh’s radio program.
They may have finally hit pay dirt.
That’s because you won’t believe how the left is using what Limbaugh said about the New Zealand shooting to take him off the air.
Rush Limbaugh – like all concerned Americans – tried to make sense of the horrific shooting in New Zealand that left 50 innocent worshipers dead when a deranged gunman attacked two mosques.
The shooter published a bizarre manifesto that was steeped in online “meme culture” and “in” jokes that were not meant to be taken as true motivations.
Limbaugh tried to decipher the shooter’s motivation after fake news outlets tried to blame President Trump for the shooting by claiming he inspired the killer.
“The terrorist had published a manifesto and the manifesto includes the claim from the terrorist shooter that he’s not a conservative, that he’s not a Christian,” Limbaugh declared.
“He identifies as an eco-fascist, and he adds that he disagrees with Trump on politics.”
“In addition to all of the emotion you have over the sheer shock, terror, and horror of it all, then you realize you’re going to face a whole day of the politicization of it,” Limbaugh added.
“You realize you’re going to face a whole day of Donald Trump being blamed for it, or you being blamed for it, or things you believe in being blamed for it.”
The top-rated talk show host addressed a theory floating online that the shooter was actually a leftist who committed a false flag attack to blame conservatives and Trump supporters.
“There’s an ongoing theory that the shooter himself may, in fact, be a leftist who writes the manifesto and then goes out and performs the deed purposely to smear his political enemies, knowing he’s going to get shot in the process. You know you just can’t — you can’t immediately discount this. The left is this insane, they are this crazy. And then if that’s exactly what the guy is trying to do then he’s hit a home run, because right there on Fox News: ‘Shooter is an admitted white nationalist who hates immigrants.’”
In the killer’s manifesto, he admitted that part of his motivation was to create chaos in American politics.
But his writings were filled with mis-directions, memes, and nods to fringe online culture that made it impossible to pin down his exact political views.
Since the 2016 election, the left – led by the media reporting team at CNN – began a crusade to ban anyone from the internet who supports “conspiracy theories.”
To liberals like the enforcers of left-wing dogma at CNN, that means anyone who disagrees with the dominant liberal narrative on any given issue is now guilty of the thought crime of “spreading misinformation.”
Media reporters at CNN believe tech companies – as well as traditional media outlets like the radio networks that broadcast Rush Limbaugh – need to ban “wrong thinkers” from speaking.
The left seized on Limbaugh’s comments to lie about him and smeared him as denying the New Zealand attack even took place.
They know what they’re saying is false, but they have identified the key pressure points in 2019’s online and media culture.
And they will apply as much pressure as they can in order to silence their political enemies.
We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
