Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats’ plan to remove Donald Trump from office is in the end game.
Robert Mueller’s public testimony is supposed to be the event that finally turns the American people against President Trump.
And Rush Limbaugh made this shocking prediction about the Democrats impeaching Donald Trump.
The fake news media and Democrats thought they scored a major victory in their attempt to drive Donald Trump from office when Robert Mueller agreed to testify in public on July 17.
Democrats and their allies in the media believed the American people getting to see and hear Mueller describe findings would shift the momentum in favor of impeachment.
Those dreams went up in smoke.
Mueller initially agreed to testify for two-and-a-half hours before a joint House Intelligence and Judiciary Committee panel.
This agreement enraged Democrats because it meant only senior members of the committee would question Mueller and the rank-and-file would be reduced to mere spectators.
So Democrats and Mueller went back to the negotiating table.
And now it appears Mueller’s testimony was delayed in order to try and arrive at an agreement for more time to allow additional Democrats to question Mueller.
Rush Limbaugh discussed this development on his show and predicted this was the end of impeachment.
“The Drive-By Media is in a bit of a panic. Robert J. Mueller the 14th is saying that he may not want to testify next week. And so they’re talking about either postponing it or delaying it or at, panic worse, he might not even ever show up. And there’s one reason why they want Mueller to show up, and it’s purely to kick start the impeachment proceedings again because while nobody was looking they’ve died,” Limbaugh began.
Limbaugh explained that House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler wanted to limit the number of Democrats questioning Mueller to keep the focus on a few core questions that could drive the impeachment narrative.
“What’s happening is that Nadler is figuring out that he’s gonna be in charge of a circus, and when it comes time to end it he won’t know how. I mean, gracefully. When the self-imposed time limit that Mueller has placed on it, like two hours, when that comes, how does Nadler end this?” Limbaugh wondered.
“If he could get his Young Turks on the committee and the rest of the crazy Democrats to agree to give up their time to three or four Democrats on the committee who are more informed that could bore in, Nadler thinks he would have a better show. But the 41 Democrats don’t want to give up their time and they don’t want to ask Mueller questions. They want to make their little statements for the cameras for reelection ads and so forth. So we’re following that,” Limbaugh concluded.
The delay also kills impeachment momentum because it pushed Mueller’s testimony to just two days before Congress departs for August recess.
Congress won’t return until Labor Day and with members scattered across the country and on vacation, whatever headlines come out of Mueller’s testimony will quickly dissipate.
Great American Daily will continue to cover any new developments in the Democrats’ attempt to impeach President Trump.
