Democrats look at the polls and conclude Joe Biden can’t lose this election.
But they may be making the same mistake they made in 2016.
And now Rush Limbaugh revealed Trump has one secret weapon that will seal Biden’s doom.
Donald Trump staged one of his signature rallies in Michigan.
There were thousands in attendance and the President delivered one of his best performances on the campaign trail.
The following day on his radio program, Rush Limbaugh explained that the President’s ace in the hole against Joe Biden was the bond between the President and his supports that spurred massive enthusiasm to turn out and re-elect Trump.
“I recognized this was a special candidate, a special campaign, when I saw this, because I had been there. I’d done it myself. I had done the Rush to Excellence Tour. I had seen rallies like this. I had seen connections, bonds between audience and performer, host, whatever. I knew that Trump had a special connection with the people who supported him and who were gonna vote for him, and here he is last night in Freeland, Michigan, during his rally,” Limbaugh stated.
Limbaugh explained that the crowd began chanting “we love you” at Trump as the President described ending the rioting in Democrat-run cities.
“’They heard we were going in,’ meaning they heard federal troops were coming. ‘We informed ‘em we’re going in. They sent their police to do it. We never had to go in. The local police did the job. But we can solve these problems in a matter of minutes.’ And that’s when the crowd wanted to show their appreciation, and that’s what they’re doing — and you other politicians? You want to see appreciation? You want appreciation? Watch Donald Trump. He is appreciated by the people that vote for him,” Limbaugh added.
Limbaugh explained that the President’s rallies and the fact that Trump made good on many of the promises he made in 2016 made his supporters feel special and eager to return the President’s loyalty to them.
“Because everybody wants to be part of something larger than themselves, particularly mature people who know that there are things larger than themselves. You want to be part of organizations like this, and you want to matter. This is what people who attend a Trump rally end up saying. They have almost an inner glow of happiness and relevance because they’re part of something that they know is good and decent,” Limbaugh added.
Limbaugh compared the rock concert feel of the Trump rally in Michigan with a Joe Biden event where Biden sat in a circle with five or six other people on dead grass in someone’s backyard and muffled words through a mask.
No one feels any connection to Joe Biden.
Biden is just the name on a ballot.
But the President’s supporters feel like they know Trump and are part of an extended family.
If President Trump pulls out a victory in November, the intensity of his supporters will be a big reason why.
