Rush Limbaugh is one of Donald Trump’s closest allies in the media.
But President Trump can’t believe what Limbaugh just did.
That’s because Rush Limbaugh went on the air and said this one thing that Donald Trump wanted to keep secret.
The fake news media’s latest manufactured scandal entered the public discourse after President Trump’s interview with Democrat Party activist George Stephanopoulos on ABC News.
Stephanopoulos asked Trump a ‘gotcha’ question about accepting dirt on a Democrat rival from a foreign government.
The President said he would listen before deciding to call the FBI.
That was all that the fake news media needed for the coverage to be off to the races in their latest phony “crisis.”
Democrats seized on the comments to slam Trump as a traitor.
But Rush Limbaugh revealed there was a strategy at play.
Limbaugh told his audience that President Trump may wish Limbaugh kept it a secret, but the conservative radio host told his listeners that President Trump set a trap for the fake news media and the Democrat Party.
“So Trump is forcing all these people to go public here with their outrage over just thinking about doing it, saying it’s illegal, it’s unpresidential, it’s un-American, and the day is gonna come where everybody’s gonna know that the Democrats did it, that Hillary Clinton did it. And it’s gonna be very difficult for these clowns have been conniption fits today to walk it all back, once Barr and Durham make their findings clear,” Limbaugh declared.
“That’s why I think part of this is a set — Trump is not stupid. Don’t care what anybody thinks, he’s not stupid. And Stephanopoulos did not sandbag him. Stephanopoulos did not set him up, did not catch him in a moment of when his guard was down, or he was not prepared,” Limbaugh continued.
Limbaugh speculated that President Trump wanted a discussion on foreign election interference.
That’s because the fake news media spent the last several months in full-on cover up mode over revelations that Hillary Clinton’s campaign paid a foreign spy to collude with Russian intelligence sources to spread conspiracy theories and lies about Donald Trump during the 2016 election.
The infamous Steele dossier was put together after Steele – a former foreign spy – contacted his sources in Russia for embarrassing political gossip about the President.
This is how the Russian collusion hoax entered the American political mainstream.
The only way to get the media to cover the Clintons’ treasonous collusion with foreign spies was for Trump to initiate the conversation.
That way, when fake news reporters asked Trump officials or other Republicans about the President’s comments, they could calmly respond that the only documented occurrence of a political campaign accepting dirt from a hostile foreign power was Hillary Clinton’s.
Limbaugh worried that revealing Trump’s line of thought may alert the media and cause them to pull back.
But by the weekend, it was clear the media’s hatred for President Trump had blinded them and the fake news reporters charged into this buzz saw head-on.
And Trump his allies were all too happy to refocus the discussion onto the Clinton campaign colluding with foreign spies and Russian intelligence sources to meddle in the 2016 election.
