Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the oldest Justice serving on the Supreme Court.
Ginsburg also serves as the lead of the court’s liberal bloc.
But now Ruth Bader Ginsburg could get removed from the Supreme Court after this ultimatum from Donald Trump.
Far-left Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor ranted and raved in a dissent where the conservative majority on the Supreme Court lifted an injunction allowing the Trump administration to deny green cards to foreigners likely to end up on welfare.
Sotomayor accused the five conservative justices as acting as political advocates for the Trump administration.
“Perhaps most troublingly, the Court’s recent behavior on stay applications has benefited one litigant over all others,” Sotomayor wrote.
That was the last straw for Donald Trump.
Ever since Trump took office, liberal judges cast aside any pretense of being objective jurors and simply enforced the Democrat Party’s will by throwing legally dubious roadblock after legally dubious roadblock in the way of his “Make America Great Again” agenda.
In a news conference in India after a successful trip, the President responded to Sotomayor’s dissent by noting that it was Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg that confessed political bias against Trump during the 2016 campaign and that Ginsburg should recuse herself from any cases involving Trump.
“Well, it’s very obvious. I mean, I always thought that, frankly, that Justice Ginsburg should do it cause she went wild during the campaign when I was running,” Trump told the press. “She said some things that were obviously very inappropriate. She later sort of apologized, I wouldn’t say it was an apology but she sort of apologized.”
“And then Justice Sotomayor said what she said yesterday, you know very well what she said yesterday, it was a big story,” the President added. “And I just don’t know how they cannot recuse themselves to anything having to do with Trump or Trump-related.”
President Trump referred to comments Ginsburg made during the 2016 election.
In an interview with the New York Times, Ginsburg stated that the consequences of Trump winning the election were unimaginable and that it might be time to move to New Zealand.
“I can’t imagine what this place would be — I can’t imagine what the country would be — with Donald Trump as our president,” Ginsburg told the Times. “For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that.”
“‘Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand,’” Ginsburg added.
If those comments weren’t bad enough, Ginsburg then told fake news CNN that Trump possessed ideological and character defects that made him unfit for the Presidency.
Ginsburg also attacked Trump for not making his tax returns public.
“He is a faker,” Ginsburg ranted to fake news CNN. “He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment. He really has an ego. … How has he gotten away with not turning over his tax returns? The press seems to be very gentle with him on that.”
