Sean Hannity is the number one rated star on all of cable news.
That success – as well as support for President Trump – made Hannity public enemy number one to the fake news media.
But now everything is at risk because Sean Hannity went on TV and made the big mistake that could end his career.
One of the biggest stories in America is the backlash to the lockdown orders governors across America imposed on their population to close businesses and shut citizens inside using a form of house arrest.
Protests erupted in states from coast to coast – including in deep blue California – demanding governors end these tyrannical orders and end the economic devastation that threw 30 million people out of work.
Nowhere was the opposition to the lockdown more sustained or fierce than in Michigan.
Hundreds of protestors peacefully assembled at the state capitol in Lansing to demand Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer retract her imperial lockdown order.
Fake news reporters seized on pictures of peaceful protesters exercising their First and Second Amendment rights to paint a false picture of the protest as a cabal of armed to the teeth neo-Nazis storming the capitol and holding guns to elected officials’ heads to end the lockdown.
In a stunning capitulation to the fake news media, Sean Hannity went on his Fox News program and attacked the protestors as an armed group that presented a clear and present danger to the American way of life.
“Now, no one is a bigger defender of the 2nd Amendment than yours truly. Everyone has the right to protest, protect themselves and try to get the country open. This, with the militia-look here and these long guns, uhh, no,” Hannity began.
Hannity unfortunately spewed fake news media talking points that claim any American citizen exercising their God-given Second Amendment right was the equivalent of a paramilitary force from a third world country.
“Show of force is dangerous. That puts our police at risk, and by the way, your message will never be heard, whoever you people are,” Hannity added.
“No one should be attempting to intimidate officials with a show of force, and God forbid something happens, then they’re gonna go after all of us law abiding 2nd Amendment people,” Hannity concluded.
Hannity’s comments came on the heels of Governor Whitmer appearing on fake news CNN and seizing on one or two individuals that brought a noose or sign with a swastika on it to smear the hundreds of peaceful protesters as racist white nationalists.
“Some of the outrageousness of what happened at our capitol depicted some of the worst racism and awful parts of our history in this country,” Whitmer told fake news CNN.
“There were swastikas and Confederate flags and nooses and people with assault rifles. That’s a small group of people when you think that this is a state of almost 10 million people, the vast majority of whom are doing the right thing,” Whitmer added.
Sean Hannity is currently the king of cable news.
But last year when Matt Drudge turned on Donald Trump, traffic to his site dropped and did not recover until the pandemic.
If Hannity alienates his audience by insulting peaceful protesters that want to go back to work, he could see his ratings decline.
