A 2016 payment of $130,000 from then-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen to Stormy Daniels is at the center of a Democrat witch hunt to arrest Donald Trump.
Now all hell is breaking loose.
And a stunning Stormy Daniels confession about Donald Trump left Democrats fearing the worst.
Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is trying to indict Trump on state charges of falsifying business records to conceal accepting an illegal in-kind federal campaign contribution on the grounds that Cohen’s payment to Daniels was meant to influence the election.
The alleged affair in question dates back to 2006 and the alleged campaign finance violation is from 2016.
Bragg is using years-old allegations and gossip to prop up a flimsy case designed to benefit Democrats’ chances in the 2024 election.
But now Bragg is facing a credibility crisis with one of his star witnesses.
Last year Daniels tweeted at Cohen that she has repeatedly said she never had an affair with Trump.
Woah! I never said it was an affair. I have said over and over that he CORNERED ME coming out of a bathroom. Well…I guess to him, that IS an affair. Seems to be his pattern.

That fits with a statement Daniels put out in January 2018 right before she was set to appear on liberal comedian Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night ABC talk show where she said she denied having an affair with Trump because Daniels wrote an affair never happened.
“The fact of the matter is that each party to this alleged affair denied its existence in 2006, 2011, 2016, 2017 and now again in 2018,” Daniels wrote at the time. “I am not denying this affair because I was paid ‘hush money’ as has been reported in overseas owned tabloids. I am denying it because it never happened.”
Donald Trump has maintained to this day that he never had an affair with Daniels.
Daniels’ contradictory statements — as well as Cohen’s admitted dishonesty — present a massive problem for Bragg if this case makes it to trial — which is not a sure thing given the absurd legal theory Bragg is inventing for this political prosecution of Joe Biden’s chief political rival.
But the point of these cases isn’t justice or the rule of the law.
Critics contend the end game of this years-long witch hunt for Bragg and the other Democrat prosecutors in Fulton County, Georgia and Washington, D.C. is to overwhelm Trump with criminal charges and then offer Trump a plea deal of no jail time in exchange for dropping out of the 2024 race.
