The fake news media is lying to you.
For two years, anti-Trump journalists have promoted a narrative about Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
But what the FBI Director admitted about Russia will leave you speechless.
One trick the media likes to play is to describe what happened in the 2016 election as “meddling.”
The media chose this word on purpose.
Journalists who claim Russia “meddled” in the election want you to think hackers in Moscow hacked into the vote totals or voter rolls and were able to manipulate the outcome of the race.
But what Russia is accused of doing is not “meddling.”
If Russian hackers allegedly gaining access to the email accounts belonging to the Democrat National Committee and John Podesta requires a special counsel, then Jeff Sessions should appoint a special counsel to investigate who meddled in the election by illegally leaking Donald Trump’s 1995 tax return to the New York Times.
But there is no evidence Russia altered the outcome of the election.
The 2016 election wasn’t stolen and it wasn’t rigged.
FBI Director Christopher Wray admitted this in an interview with Lester Holt at the Aspen Ideas Festival.
Wray declared that Russia does not target election infrastructure – vote counts and voter rolls – but instead seeks to sow discord through misinformation.
Wray’s exchange with Lester Holt was as follows:
WRAY: My view has not changed, which is that Russia attempted to interfere with the last election and that it continues to engage in malign influence operations to this day.
HOLT: Aimed at our political system?
WRAY: Aimed at sowing discord and divisiveness in this country. We haven’t yet seen an effort to target specific election infrastructure. What they do is they will identify a divisive issue and through a variety of means, some overt, some covert, some through fake news, some through propaganda, will essentially sow divisiveness, spin people up on both sides of the issue, and then kind of watch us go at each other.
In this regard, Russia is no different than the so-called “mainstream” media.
No entity has sown as much division and discord in the American public than the so-called “mainstream” media.
For two years, journalists – completely blinded by their hatred of Donald Trump – have undermined Americans faith in the electoral process by relentlessly promoting this hoax that Donald Trump colluded with Vladimir Putin to steal the Presidency from the rightful winner, Hillary Clinton.
But the Russians did not “meddle” in the election in the way the media is leading people to believe.
That’s why journalists use the shorthand, “Russia hacked the election.”
These members of the press are purposefully trying to mislead their readers and viewers into thinking Russia tampered with the outcome and Trump’s victory was not on the level.
But as FBI Director Wray admitted, Russia does not target the election infrastructure of America.
The result of every election is 100 percent legitimate.
Had the media honestly covered this story from day one, the American political system would not be paralyzed by such hatred and division.
Instead of telling the truth, news outlets chose to promote a carefully crafted lie that tore the country apart because of their seething hatred for Donald Trump.
