Liberals continue to fume over the Supreme Court.
The left acts like they are entitled to a permanent majority that constantly bends to their will.
But now the Supreme Court angered one major Democrat with a stinging defeat.
It is racist to condemn a man just because of the color of his skin and it is also a miscarriage of justice to release a man just because of the color of his skin.
Liberals don’t understand that if they ask Americans to give people special treatment because of their race, that is the very definition of racism.
The classic symbol of justice is represented by a woman wearing a blindfold because justice should be blind.
Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé, Dr. Phil, and Rihanna all advocated for Rodney Reed getting released from prison.
They all believe that the racist legal system is somewhat responsible for putting him behind bars and is the reason he’s on death row.
However, it was DNA testing that got Rodney Reed convicted of murder and rape.
That’s the reason that the Supreme Court isn’t willing to listen to the case that was settled 23 years ago.
According to The Daily Wire:
Reed was convicted of the 1996 rape and murder of 19-year-old Stacy Stites due in large part to DNA evidence. When Reed was convicted, it was determined Stites was strangled to death by her own belt while on her way to work at a HEB grocery store in Bastrop, Texas, in April 1996. Evidence determined that Stites was both vaginally and anally raped while being strangled to death. DNA from semen found in the teen’s vagina and anus matched that of Reed’s.
However, Reed has claimed that he did not murder Stites, but was having a secret consensual sexual affair with the teen. When her fiancé Jimmy Fennell, a white police officer, found out, he killed Stites, Reed’s defense attorneys theorized.
Celebrities were quick to advocate for Reed despite the overwhelming evidence against the convict.
Reed’s DNA sample was collected from his girlfriend who claimed he beat and raped her. It was also connected to the rapes of five others, including a 12-year-old girl.
Those cases were not prosecuted, probably because Reed was already on death row.
“When someone gets a death penalty, the other cases are often not taken to court because of resources and not wanting to put other victims through trials once ultimate punishment already given. All of those cases are still there and have been the entire time,” Brandon Darby from Breitbart News said.
There are people who have been imprisoned unfairly but there’s no evidence to suggest that Rodney Reed is one of those people.
The numerous other rape accusations against him, with DNA evidence to support them, should keep him behind bars for the rest of his life.
All the celebrities who just a few months ago were big into the #MeToo movement are now trying to get a rapist out of jail.
Luckily the Supreme Court has more sense than celebrities.
